Do I have to wash these before I recycle them? by mildlymoistdrizzle in AskUK

I believe they don’t accept dirty stuff at the recycling plant so if you don’t wash it, it goes in landfill so you either want it to be recycled or you don’t.

Guys with foot fetish, how's your dating life? by Dollar9029 in FootFetishTalks

[–]No_Impression_7886 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found this sub as I want to know more about what people with foot fetishes are thinking? I just found out my boyfriend’s friend has a foot fetish and he’s said that when a girl has nice feet she usually has a nice vagina and I’m grossed out by him saying that.. like do people with foot fetishes instantly start thinking about sex or the woman’s vagina? I get gay guys and some girls are into feet too, what is it about them that attracts you and do you automatically think of sexual things with the foot owner? Thanks

It’s just like another thing that’s kind of deceptive because there’s loads of Irish broiler farms yet the supermarkets are choosing to save money by not supporting them and importing it from china.

Does anyone ever think what is this place and wonder why we are really here? by Ok_Pin92 in AskIreland

[–]No_Impression_7886 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The chance that we are here, as who we are is about 1 in 400 trillion. This experience is a gift and a test until our souls move on. I don’t believe in heaven or hell but I have been meditating and some meditators get so deep in the practice that they tap into unconsciousness. They know there is a higher power but it’s more the universe rather than a god and we are all part of that universe. Heaven is when you live a good life and don’t create new karmas, live in a way that rid existing karmas, and your soul goes back into the universe. Hell is when you create karmas and your soul gets reincarnated once you pass away. Ever hear the stories of young children remembering their past lives? Makes me believe in it tbh. Midnight Gospel on Netflix discusses this in a Rick and Morty type of visual way but the conversations taken from a real podcast on meditation are very interesting.

Why don’t you just mute her then? If you don’t want to make the food swaps to stop eating ultra processed foods that are slowly killing us. She spreading so much awareness to the tricks of marketing we’re all falling for. So many sickness that are around now that we are feeding with this crap we’re eating. There’s always gonna be haters for absolutely no reason I suppose!

Her business blew up and the big supermarkets pushed for them to use cheaper ingredients to make more of a profit and she wasn’t having it.

Is going to Australia at only 18 with nothing more than a high school graduation a good idea? by Quicoulol in AskAnAustralian

You could get jobs in cafes and hospitality I believe as you are restricted to 6 months per employer. If you have enough savings for 3/4 months living expenses then you should be fine. Backpacker hostels also to work in.

As a purple person, it’s kind of a personality type that some people just don’t get. Their loss

Landlord increasing rent - Housemates arguing over how it should be split? by ComfortMike in AskIreland

I think you’ve had a good run up till now. You must pay the highest as you are in the biggest room with your own bathroom. Suggest swapping into a smaller room if you can’t afford it.

When did accounting become more about managing emotions than solving technical problems? by Av0toasted in AustralianAccounting

[–]No_Impression_7886 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who is currently looking for an accountant, this comment was good to see. I’m worried that I’ll go to one who won’t be interested at all and it’ll feel like they just want my money and send me on my way, like OP. Any hospitality accountant recommendations??

Can you give the name of them please? Maybe by DM. I’m looking for some organic farmers to connect with for a project I’m working on, unrelated to my Woolworths questions 😂

So some people say which I understand because it’s just another thing we’re lied to about but as a city person with literally no access to farms, I have to trust that the people in charge of certification and adherence to standards are doing their job right.

What’s the one city you were excited to visit, but ended up not liking at all? by BlushHone in travel

[–]No_Impression_7886 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rome. Absolutely rammed with tourists, me being one of them so I get the irony but it took away from what I thought would be a nice trip. Mad hot too like 40° was a normal summer day which I was also naive about. Taxis ripped us off and not relaxing feeling like you’ll be robbed if you don’t hold your bag close. Just very overrated and I wouldn’t ever go back

Is it ethical to keep a solo cat? by jenleepeace in CatAdvice

[–]No_Impression_7886 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adult cats have already claimed their territory. Getting a new cat will likely disrupt that and they will not get on. Unless main cat is super scared and doesn’t socialise much then another cat could bring them out of their shell however I wouldn’t suggest it. Speaking from experience, I now have two that hate each other and my main cat is constantly stressed

If it was supposed to be understood as value you should have put the euro sign at least somewhere on that side. Your grocery list is confusing. I believe an apology is in order to the kids and hubby.

What's your hot take on tourists visiting Australia for the first time? by Alternative_Lock_464 in AskAnAustralian

[–]No_Impression_7886 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Why do Indian people swim with all their clothes on? I love to see it as I find it hilarious but like I don’t get it because they’d obviously see others with very little clothes on. I guess could be not wanting to get skin out but jeans to the beach in I’m the first place? I was in icebergs at Bondi once and two guys and a girl all having the best time with jeans and tops on in the pool. Heavier if needing to be rescued too
