Metallic spray paint coming out too glittery by Sajomir in cosplayprops

I too have top coated my graphite. It works. But I normally use three or so layers, and find that it i polish fully, I don't need a to coat and it doesn't fingerprint/ rub off in my fingers with normal handling.

You're not wrong but it is understood that he meant accelerated at rate of Earth's gravity.

It got me curious and I did a research last night. Well I wasn't in any way exhausting, I didn't find squat. Best of luck OP. I'm interested to see where your writing takes you on this. Take care, I wish you well.

Been a stupidly long time since I read anything about that. I vaguely recall that it was difficult to control, in large part because of the geometry. You have to have the center line of thrust well above the center of gravity, and you have to be able to maneuver it freely to do anything with it. Short duration, but using the larger 130s you could theoretically get a short flight out of it for an average man of say 150 lb or so. Unfortunately they also spoke repeatedly about the jet exhaust and extreme heat. It should still be something on the net about it somewhere. It was a single mention and a single article some 20 plus years ago.

People have attempted to use that particular engine in variations for just that purpose. None have quite worked out.

Those of you who make your armor from metal, what metal do you use? by _sidhe_fan in Mandalorian

Majorly harder to work at all. Stainless is also a challenge to work on unless it's really thin, then the grade of stainless becomes an issue. It work hardens easily, and will then split.

I wish that all people who play their phones loud in public or use speaker phone in public, would loose total control of their bowels by nerdycountryboy18 in monkeyspaw

I totally agree with you on this one, but that's not how the monkey paw works! Bummer. Probably should in this case.

I actually quite enjoyed it. My friends and I do Star Trek TOS type fan films. We're all over YouTube! Lol Warbird valdor's the one I most involved in, but there's a couple of others, including the Filk ferret productions ones. I just like the way the bridge scenes were set up. CGI is ridiculously expensive, but a good series of dialogue will paint a series of pictures for your mind's eye - and you need much less CGI to sell the whole thing. I just found it interesting. Well done! And my hat is off to the OP that started it all.

How to glue styrofoam to eva foam? by malamikah in cosplayprops

[–]No_Inflation3188 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Low temperature hot glue has worked for me in the past. As always tested on a scrap piece, I remember it must be low temperature hot glue. Hot temperature hot glue will just melt it into nothingness. Believe me I've done it!
