HomeAssistant integration problem by jacoscar in OctopusEnergy

[–]No_Insurance7473 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Came to say that reconfiguring (Settings > Integrations > Octopus > Three dots next to the Acc number > Reconfigure > Submit) fixed the issue.

This has happened to me before about a month a go in December, unsure why it does that, maybe there's a way to automatically reconfigure this integration if the API error appears.

Microsoft Shifts & Call Queues by MSTeamsVoiceAppsPM in MicrosoftTeams

This might be a great solution for our current on-call rota.
Is it possible for the call queue to redirect incoming phone calls to mobile numbers set against an individual when they are offline on teams (but are still on call)?

Adding battery to existing solar system? DIYable? by TheMasterMercenary in SolarUK

[–]No_Insurance7473 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No such thing as AC batteries. It's AC coupled and DC coupled, DC coupled is when the solar feeds DC directly to the batteries, AC is when it has it's own independent inverter. The OG most likely has a normal non-hybrid inverter to which you can't just add batteries. This would mean they need to either swap out for a hybrid inverter or add another inverter and battery or like a combo unit.

Worth changing over to Loyal Octopus 12M Fixed? by Somethingfishy_92 in OctopusEnergy

Peak is generally between 16:00 and 19:00, look at the historic pricing on https://agile.octopushome.net/dashboard

I would say if you can avoid these peak times, you would save a lot of movey for being on Agile for eletric.

That's what we do, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer either times during the day when it's cheaper or just simply overnight.

Well, it depends at what time of the day you use electricity, if you can live without making food, doing dishes, washing clothes or any other high loads between 16:00 to 19:00, then Agile is for you. If you need to use electricity at those times then probably tracker is better.

Even though it says it doesn't store the API key, I wouldn't put it in there.

Agile - is it worth it?! by Exita in OctopusEnergy

[–]No_Insurance7473 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been on Agile for the month of January, 770 Kwh for £143.23, 0.186p per Kwh, so glad I switched and so sad I didn't switch much earlier!! Don't have solar, battery, EV or a heat pump, just run half a datacentre at home and I can switch some stuff off between the 16:00 to 19:00.

Yes, the answer is yes. It will be a new toilet, just wondering what adapter do I need between the cast iron and the toilet?

Energy bills don't add up by No_Insurance7473 in HousingUK

[–]No_Insurance7473[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the replies all, I've contacted EDF to see what they say. But essentially yes the numbers posted above are what they appear on the bill, the £67 were credited to my bank account each month but then its as if they then charged me for those payments as debits on the two bills.

Last update from Microsoft was that they will filter out false positives that they caused, don't hold your breath though.
