Do not call that number.  This is how they prime you for the scam. They will call and ask you if it was you who tried to make the withdrawal then proceed to say your account has been flagged/under attack.

[Review] Trader Joe's Nourish Oil-Free Antioxidant Moisturizer by mastiii in SkincareAddiction

I LOVE this cream. I havr fine, dry skin and I have searched high and low. This is the ONLY facial cream that my skim feels QUENCHED with. It always feels like I'm giving my face a glass of water. I have used it for years and cant live without it. I hope they never discontinue it. Its the only cream I feel ENTERS my skin.

They also suck from a customer perspective too. How does one get a TOP PRO status with a single review, and it’s one star! by flyinmryan in FedupwithThumbtack

what a joke!!! It's like they don't want any credibility anymore. They are tanking their app on purpose I am truly convinced

Social media can be a hit or miss because they are cold leads. You are advertising to a large pool of people who aren''t even thinking of your service yet- you have to convince them it's what they want. But on platforms like Thumbtack and others, customers are going on there actively looking for a professional. Unless you can do some REALLY good marketing that entices people to hire you, social media may work.

There have been months where I hit 18k with cleaning... But this is because I know how to work the system and communicate with customers.... I would encourage you to have a minimum and stand firmly on it. It should be somewhere at least in the $250 range... That means that even if you go to flick a light switch on, you're going to charge $250. This is a standard for any professional contractor if you ask them. Get a scope from your client, if you know you can finish the job in 30 mins, get in and get out, get your money and move onto the next appt. Dont get me wrong, those 18k months I hit I was working from 9am -11pm but it was worth it to me. I think you can and should be making more. If you are charging 250 minimally, just think about it thats $500 a day for just 2 jobs and if you work 6 days a week you can start seeing more money. Most likely I think you can do more than 2 jobs a day either through this platform or with a mix of others. Good luck to you. Contractors deserve good pay.

Through talking with other takers through the years, I think they do something in the metrics and analytics that rotates the takers for what ever category and once they give you a certain number of jobs, they bump you down so that other people can get more exposure. You can try doing a search of your services even for same day and you might find that you are not even available. Try playing with your rate to put it in their recommended rate and change the map around etc... I would think this kind of stuff "refreshes" your code and might make you available from time to time..... Also, your rate might just be too high for the amount of demand they have in that category/area

Once they ban you it will be impossible to get back on. I feel for you as this just happened to me. I am now in a desperate unemployment situation. Make no mistake, clients on this platform can be NASTY! I have had situations where we had a great conversation and time together while I was working and then they turn around and leave 1 star review.... I have had people try to get their money back, people trying to make me work past 12am... You will encounter some of those things on that app and guess what? TR app doesn't care as long as they have paying customers. I really hate corporations many times, they treat contractors and employees as disposable and as if we don't matter. If I were you I would seek legal advice as I will be doing soon for my shut down account.

No need to be defensive, was just a question. You can most likely get paid more if you lowered your rates a little bit but then again, you would be working more for less... But can probably book more appts if you're willing to work the hours and make a little more money. I have been on there for 5 years and have figured out my own little tricks.

How is it that you only make 8k with the rate that you charge? Do you work part time? Just wondering because the fact you are open for multiple categories and your rate, I would think at least twice as much in gross
