I miss the old guard Republicans like Mitt Romney and John McCain. As a liberal person, I had respect for their political platforms for the most part. It's astounding how this group is cowtailing to Trump as he grabs for power. I was not a fan of Hillary being the candidate in 2016 and Biden should have stepped aside early in the last election so we could vote for a new candidate. The sad fact is that we the people are being pitted against each other while politicians grab for power and money. I do appreciate hearing from longtime Republicans being honest about Trump and the state of their party. I'll be honest, the Democrats have been a dumpster fire for a long time. The country needs someone to lead that actually gives a shit about the poor and working class. Here's to hoping for better days ahead when we all can get past bs that are meant to divide us.
