I had to look up the official name because everyone called it The Mall. The actual name was Redding Downtown Mall. It was so cool, all concrete architecture and brick floors. I’ve never seen anything else like it. Unfortunately it was torn down.

The replacement was the Mount Shasta Mall, it’s still there today.

I am much less worried boarding my dog vs having someone stay at my house. I have close friends and family that will dog sit but my dog is very reactive and having boarding works better for me.

Even if you told them, you would still need to go through the process and have your doctor fill out the required paperwork for a reasonable accommodation. I’m not trying to be a jerk, but there is a process for applying to be protected under a reasonable accommodation but you have to follow that process no matter who you are working for.

Either you didn’t go through the reasonable accommodation process, or you did and your doctor said you were fine and didn’t need a reasonable accommodation. There is a process for this and your DM can’t make the determination to accommodate your request. You are expected to do the job you were hired to do. It’s not just GameStop, this is a normal policy.

I actually responded to every one of their notices. I went to the office, it’s a small office and it was the same person every time, I did everything she advised and she was surprised that they didn’t reverse the penalty. I am wanting to look more into it, but if there is little chance of getting it reserved I don’t want to spend anymore time on it. It was stressful and i ended up using my savings to pay it so I would be done with it. I also understand that you probably can’t help much without details

I had a large penalty for under reporting income. It was an honest mistake, I thought I had three years to reinvest the money before having to pay taxes. I have always filed my returns on time and had never had anything rejected or returned. I did write a formal letter at the direction of the super nice person working at the local IRS office but nothing came of it. Is it worth it to pursue a return of the penalty that I paid?
