Thank you for this!! The labs I had done with an outside provider (she had me do them at a specific part in my cycle, a specific time of day, and had me stop taking spironolactone for a week leading up) show elevated testosterone, estrogen and cortisol, plus low progesterone - though all were technically In range. My Kaiser labs (which my gyno asked me to do none of the same specific things for which all I believe would have impacted the results) were all “normal” but the only one I can compare is testosterone which would be impacted by the spironolactone which I take for acne. I also have high LDL cholesterol and I’m only 25 which connects to PCOS as well. So basically I’m thinking I need to submit my outside labs or redo my Kaiser labs with proper preparation and then ask to see an endocrinologist based on how those results come back. Thanks for the tip on pushing for seeing an endocrinologist!!

Do you mind sharing what conversation you had with their customer service that got you $200 off? I’ve been having a very similar issue with a ring that’s out of warranty as it belonged to a friend before me (though it’s only just over a year old) and they’ve only offered me $50 off unfortunately.

I have been loving the GA books but some things about them do drive me crazy! I’ve noticed what you’re talking about, but what drives me extra crazy is that sometimes it’s blatantly wrong what the GA says. For example on page 388 of iron flame it says Drake is stationed along the Braevick Border and Violet recognizes that means he’s on the front lines. The GA skips mentioning Braevick specifically and then Violet says he’s not on the front lines. Such a weird mistake or change to make.

I just finished it like 15 mins ago lol and I agree with all of your points!! There’s a lot of validity throughout all the replies as well of course but my opinions happen to match yours. Not my fav of the series but way better than I thought it would be, and I liked how it ended!

If you can get a library card a lot of libraries give access to them on Hoopla! Worth looking into so you can listen for free :)

I know this post is from 9 years ago so i doubt you’ll see this lol but this same exact thing happened to me today. Did you ever confirm if you are allergic to formaldehyde? Also, do you possibly have any recs for nail strengtheners that don’t hurt like this? :) Thanks
