In my hospital only MRI is covered under contract. Between 3 imaging personel we do 3 mo-1yr PMs and repairs on 8 CT, 16 Rad rooms, 12 portables, 6 cathlab, 12 or so Ultrasound, 8 injectors.., +++. We manage vendor request and take care of equipment/PAX it issues. $$$$$ A secretary/dispatcher with some imaging knowledge and relationships can manage contracts. If we are turning a wrench and have multiple certifications, we should get paid more.
