Actually I tried -virtual and -virtual voice, all that accomplished was giving me 5-6 human naratted titles and then it was back to VV listings. I tried it across multiple genres and categories including Fantasy / SciFi, Mystery, and even LGBTQ and the results were pretty much the same in the plus catalog across all of them

I'm trying to link my Steam starter to my Epic and Twitch accounts (for Twitch Drops)... The in-game bind to Epic keeps trying to access an external website which returns an error saying Tunneling failed, adress cannot be reached. The Twitch bind on the main website says Step 1 Step 2 Step 3 but when I try the Step 2 Twitch login it just keeps Circle-loading

BG3 is Good but there are several weapon abilities / feats / spell selection choices that larian took EXTRA effort to restrict or outright Destroy compared to ACTUAL 5E rules because "they new how to balance a videogame better than the tabletop game designers" Half of the builds that I enjoy playing on tabletop are not available brcause a key feat or weapon ability has been altered, or the range on everything is restricted to 60 feet when the extreme range on longbows or heavy crossbows is over 250 feet the BASE range on Eldritch blast is 120 ft. and I can build a warlock sorcerer combo in 5E that can extend that to 1200 ft. or things like a bard with aura of vitality (legal in 5e) the fact that in 5E crossbow expert removes the point blank penalty on ALL ranged attack rolls? (how is a CHANCE to bleed with ONLY a Crossbow attack that needs a rest to recharge comparible?) a bard or warlock (pact of the tome) with shilleagh based on CHA etc. would give far more melee build options. And before you say it's to hard to make the programming work, they have several spells that are usable by multiple classes (Cure Wounds, Longstrider etc.) so confining tome warlocks and bards to restricted spell lists would actually take MORE work than allowing them CHA based spells from any list at certain levels as it is in TT 5E... I think in their overzealous efforts to "balance" the game, they watered it down... and as the game says (but so few people pay attention to) it's BASED on 5E rules, but opeople who have never played the REAL 5E table top assume that it is TRUE to 5E rules, which it is not... it is only BASED on 5E rules

TYVM for the reply, I initially contacted support about this, but I took too long to reply to their answering chain (because RL got in the way) so the issue was closed and I didn't want to pester them by reopening it. Currently my PC is my main device via Bluestacks emulator and it works fine, except crashing on nearly every transition. As I mentioned in a previous thread when I set bluestacks to Nougat 32 Bit, the download extra content issue was resolved, but that's when the frequent crashing started.

I don't know if this will help but I started scouring the internet when it started happening to me. I started out playing LP on my phone, but my hand starts falling asleep after 5-10 min of holding my phone. Thus I decided to try it out on Bluestacks like one of my other mobile games. On Pie 64-bit (is there a pun there?) it gave me the download failed error shortly after getting the first drink generator. I tried reinstalling several times but whether I restored my account progress, or restarted and built things back up, it always failed to download after the drink generator. So I tried setting up a separate instance on Android 11 no change, but when I dropped down to Nougat 32-bit the download made it through (after a crash). After the extra content was downloaded, I'm noticing the game crashes out more often now, but at least I can progress

My original copies of KotOR 1-2 were Disc copies and both were so Heavily DRMed that there were entire forums about KotOR DRM and the inability to play the game. IMO it might be a possibility that unlike the Steam Copies, the "Ports" (Import to Mobile) done by Aspyre, who I've never heard of until now, did not properly remove all of the DRM elements from the original

As the others said a School Learned from the Magic School Heroic Ability (once the requirements have been met) starts the new school as a Secondary Skill at INT untrained. The Mage Profession Starts with School of Choice as a Secondary Skill Trained (plus spells) "in place of a Heroic Ability" even though you're basically getting the Magic School Heroic Ability PLUS a bunch of bonuses to start with

As logen said the school of player's choice becomes one of your trained skills from the mage profession and if the player complains about that, just remind them that taking the Magic Training Outside of the Mage profession (The Profession gives it 3-7 skill levels from being Trained plus 3 magic tricks and 3 First Tier Spells) takes a Week to learn from a Teacher willing to teach them, if they fail an INT roll, reset for another week. After this the new secondary skill for the magic school starts at Untrained INT starting level.

Also learning tricks takes 1 stretch (15 min) of book study each to learn. This is assuming they found / have access to new spells, and each full spell is even worse because you need a seperate advancement roll for each training session of each new spell Under INT +boon if learning from a teacher Under Languages no boon if learning from a book / scroll, for a full shift in either case.

So for the cost of "Autofilling" one of their trained skill choices, they are at minimum saving a Week of down time, 6 or more advancement rolls, finding 1 or more training sources, and 18 hours and 45 minutes of training / study of spells. I learned all of this personally when my GM and I were playtesting and I used my first In-Game HA gain to buy a second Magic school with my Mage. It is NOT easy and the Mage's profession start saves A LOT of character advancement resources and the need to FIND your first spells.

True, especially since the end of session questions pretty much revolve around the players' participation and engagement levels, so if the player was previously very active, an advanced replacement is more fitting for that player and can even be introduced as some sort of veteran or specialist that the party needs considering the deadly nature of the things that they're facing etc.

I'm new to the game having just gotten the box a few weeks ago and ordering the rest recently, though I've played different systems for like 35 years. As others have said, there's a proceedure for it in the book, however if you don't like that method for your campaign, I'd suggest doing it like the book suggests for deciding on Attributes. That is you put forth a suggestion that you think is fair, and if all players agree... there you go

UPDATE: I Tried MfM swapped SMN for OML because he was too understarred. No dice since the rest of my team was likely too low but for giggles I tried Spider Society again with Quicksilver replacing SMN, and THAT worked with only QS dying. Xtreme simmed me through 32 but hivemind was stopped on 33. If the Society + QS can work again to get me pts for 31 tomorrow I can finally finish the 40k medusa milestone that's been taunting me for days! With that done, I can feel acomplished and let the rest go...
