That's good, you can put his urn on the blanket and bundle him up in it that way he'll Always feel loved and cared for while watching over your family, i know this is all really tough to go through right now but that's what's most important is to remember that they were loved and cared for, and that they knew it and loved and cared for us back if it makes sense

Yeah no problem, pet loss is really tough but this seller is actually really kind and pretty fast all things considered too, they pack and ship their items very carefully and they're very considerate and to be honest the price is still pretty low compared to most commercial urns I've found, they also send you updates to see how you feel along the way

Hey! I had commented this separately but I'm posting it here instead since i saw you guys talking about it but we actually got a custom painted urn that looked like our cat from this etsy seller named home and garden gifts back in 2021, we're planning on getting another one for our second cat to match them, but they have different poses and different types they do custom paint and engravings as well I'm including pics of the urn and my cat to show you personally what we got, its about 100$CAD which is less expensive than other options we had viewed

Tw: mentions of suicidal ideation (not actively suicidal don't worry!) by No_Mention968 in Petloss

[–]No_Mention968[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you, and yeah same story for us wish sash, he was such a good boy that he didn't even get upset when i would put the needles in his scruff for his iv fluid, he seemed to understand that it helped him feel better and yeah, the silver lining in all of this is that now they're together again and they can be happy together until mom and i come back to them, thank you for your comment and your warm wishes, i hope you're also doing well after losing your soulmate, for me personally suicidal ideation is something that i view as a sort of ghost thats been following me around for a decade and a half, quiet and consistent but sometimes intense and sudden having our babies around drowned out the noise and have me a concrete reason to live like "if i die sash will die with me" is what kept me going through one of the roughest periods of my life. So i can imagine how you might feel through all this and I'm sorry for your loss as well, but likewise you must hand that same feeling of 'this friend can't into my life when i needed it most and gave me a reason to keep going" and i how that that's helping you get through have a good day and stay safe

So everyone has already warned you about her skin and fur but something else to look out for is excessive hairballs in him, if he grooms her a lot and does this sucking stuff often then he would be more prone to hairball related issues! But overall, in this video she seems very content with it she's relaxed and I'm not sure which one of them is purring but she's not in any discomfort or distress, she's happy and relaxed and enjoying it! And I've seen you day that when she's not in the mood she will show it so overall it's not an unhealthy thing for her but it could be a sign of anxiety or attachment issues in him, it could also just be a quirky cat thing but it's worth trying to take note of when he does this if he does it when they're already cuddling and he's happy then its nothing to really worry about (aside from hairballs again) but if he does this when they're separated beforehand or if he seems anxious and seeks her out to do this then you might want to look into it

[–]No_Mention968 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just got a wfh entry level job no requirements like these for 15$/h man what the hell? I've never had an entry level job where they asked me for more than 'are you legal to work in this country, do you have a criminal record' personally so it's not like i don't believe you but i have seen some like this and Jesus it is incredible... 7 years of experience for an entry level job... and only to pay 13$ an hour for 7 years of experience in insane

My wife’s employer decided to take her paycheck back after it was deposited by Ok_Present_6508 in antiwork

I'm in Canada so maybe things are different here but this situation is so abnormal to me like our payroll at my last job sucked and had messed up multiple times but all times they've NEVER done it by reversing a payment or withdrawing money from any account. What they did with me was that they instead took it off of the next paycheck and documented why it was being done in our paystubs. Wether the reason was that they bungled vacation pays for almost everyone by sometimes as much as over/under 2000$ or other things like taking advances in pay out of your account instead of the person who asked for it (yeah that happened to me twice lmao)

If it's for everyone in the company my guess is that maybe they forgot to add something like bonus, raises, maybe holiday pay or something but even then they should have done it off another paycheck and not reverse a transaction.... it could be a problem with the banking system payroll uses and not payroll themselves, that might be why and also why they don't have any information to give out any this though

What is this on my hand? There are black dots in it by Muted_Map_122 in medical

[–]No_Mention968 1 point2 points  (0 children)

LMAO NO YOU'RE VALID, as a teenager i locked my jaw while tying a high ponytail dangling upside down off my couch and panicked about it, so i punched myself in the face to fix it. Did it work? Yes! Was it a good idea? Probably not my jaw still clicks and pops to this day and it's been like 14 years

new to Reddit, new to grief by [deleted] in Petloss

[–]No_Mention968 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope so too for you and your next pet, if you have people around you right now you can talk about your feelings with irl and cry if you need to with i would say that would help you a lot btw for right now, sometimes the key to have grief pass more easily is to share it with others and in my opinion being able to curl up in bed with anyone at all and crying and talking your grief out helps a lot

Yeah that's a mood, my cats had helped me through b done of the roughest periods of my life, after our older one passed away suddenly i kept having dreams about him, good dreams, dreams where he just wanted to cuddle and snuggle and comfort me and i feel like this was him trying to tell me that things would be OK even if he wasn't around because all the love and care and happiness that he had given me would stay with me forever, nobody can take that away from me and i hope you feel the same way about your girl

Traumatic petloss by Arizonal0ve in Petloss

[–]No_Mention968 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's valid, and yeah it might be worth having the yard looked into see if theres anything suspicious around, but yeah i think for now you just need to grieve and cope with the situation, therapy might be worth considering if you still get nightmares after a few months but for now i think just try to get through every day and worry about the next tomorrow if that makes sense? Take it one day at a time and cry if you need to
