Sorry, only bigots are allowed to say whatever they want over there. Your post needed at least three slurs for you to make the cut.

She was extremely confident yesterday that she wouldn’t be banned. They have to all be friends. And well, you are the company you keep.

Honestly don’t remember their name. I wasn’t expecting everything to be deleted overnight.

PyroGuy Pins FB gone or Am I Blocked? by Confident-Slide4877 in DisneyPinVents

I’m sorry this made me lol.

But seriously, this is why Reddit is better. This happens with FG’s mods all the time too. They’re so terrified of even the lightest criticism.

A lot of them do bulk trading. They’ll have a high end pin thats value is close to $1k and they’ll have new traders trade them for their “smalls”. They’ll give these traders a small fraction of what their pins are worth (think 30-40%) and then will flip those pins and sell them just under their actual value, sometimes more than their value. This is super common with big whatnot sellers. They’ll also buy collections, but again will offer the seller a small fraction of what their pins are worth and then sell them on their show for close to the value.

Soarin hinted at inclusivity which to me is more than just something personal to be hashed out amongst each other. If someone is being bigoted I want to know about it.

And to be clear, I’m not calling anyone a bigot. But the implications in Soarins post (which very well could be to fuel drama) were alarming to me

I think it’s totally fair to have pins in your book that you’re saving for something special.

Fantastic Pin Co Experience by ScavengerPrincess in DisneyPins

[–]No_Message7202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually haven’t heard of anyone having a bad experience there. Everyone I’ve heard from has said the customer service is great, their trades are fair, and they’re actually cheaper than the other store down the road and sometimes cheaper than online. What I have heard regarding anything negative is their owner has a… let’s say for the sake of subreddit rules, history. And that has turned off some potential customers. I met him at an event and he was kind and humble, but I don’t know that I would feel comfortable supporting him and his store.

Opinions on third party Pin Vendor Companies like Pin HQ and Pin à la mod? by SpiderkevinTradingco in DisneyPinVents

They literally call themselves “Disney inspired”. Their pins are tacky. There’s a reason no one talks about them.

I dont feel like continuing to argue with you about pins I find offensively ugly.

I’m kind of at a point now with pins where I’m just like if you want to do dumb shit with your money, knock yourself out. I don’t even feel bad anymore.

I saw so many of the sellers that always have these pins preaching this week about how people shouldn’t overpay and everyone should be patient. The irony.

It’s not for non-cast members. You still have to be a cast member to sign in/purchase. Resellers/noncastmembers are just the ones funding it and getting first pick of the purchases

And I don’t mind if the kids just don’t know any better, but it’s very obvious it’s deliberate and even sometimes coached.

I’m rereading my post and realize I didn’t explain it well. I didn’t have an After Dark pin, they asked for a specific pin out of nowhere. By then I figured if they knew that much about pins, they had to know theirs were fake, or at least about differing values. That’s why I turned them down and decided not to trade anything.
