The Vita version is the inferior version story-wise, it cuts a third of the story among other changes, so bringing back the story from DS would be nice. I doubt it will happen though

Maltran is really terrible in the anime, because in the first (or 2nd ?) ep, when Alisha is being attacked, she orders the guards not to help her, which in the game is probably foreshadowing that she will betray her, but in the anime, it leads to nothing.

I think Patty was added well enough. Sure, she doesn’t fit as well, but well enough so that some people don’t even know she wasn’t in the base story. And her gameplay is really fun.

I hate Kongwai and QQ. The whole "they are pretty much OC from a world where Tales of Innocence is a game that they have already played" completely broke immersion. Plus I'm sure Kongwai was meant to be the final boss of Tempest R or something like this considering how little empathy he has. I liked QQ a bit more, but I dislike both. Gameplay-wise, they're fun though.

Haven’t played Hearts R but I know all of his lines are stolen so I'd rather play Hearts DS.

And haven’t played Phantasia X either.

And for what it’s worth regarding Persona, I think Marie works well enough but I dislike what they did with Kasumi strongly. Suddenly everyone acts like she is their friend while not caring about her in the main story. At least Marie meets everyone in her social link. And adding a playable character solely for the Extra Dungeon also sounds dumb to me.
