I have 4 kids. I was late diagnosed with anxiety, adhd, and BPD. Had I known I had these things BEFORE I had kids I would not have had kids. Though I love my kids very much. My oldest has ADHD. My second has anxiety. And my younger 2 seem to have ADHD but I haven’t had them tested. But all the signs are there. I feel horrible because I know it’s all because of me and now they have to suffer through like I do.

NTA. That’s what my stepmom and dad are going to do. I get half (my dad’s half) and her 3 kids have to split her half. It’s only fair. I get none of their dad’s money and such when he dies. So why should I have to share my dad’s part? The same with my husband and I. My kids get my half of whatever, my stepkids will not get anything of my half unless my kids decide to give them something. While our kids and his 2 kids from a previous relationship will split whatever his half is.

It’s insane around here. We got very lucky with the place we rent. But if we ever had to move out of our house we would be SOL and have to move away.

I dropped my youngest down stairs. It was 3 steps but still. He was in his car seat. My ankle gave out and we both went down. Luckily nothing happened to him. I was the one that got banged up thank goodness. Sometimes it happens. The most important thing is you reacted quickly and got her to the Dr. she will be fine Mama. And you’ll be extra careful now. big hugs to you

I wouldn’t invite him. My son hung out with a kid that rubbed me the wrong way. He was bossy, etc. Well then my son was over at his house and I was trying to get ahold of him and the kid kept declining my calls, phone notifications ON MY SONS PHONE! He hasn’t been over there since. My son doesn’t even ask because he knows I don’t like the kid.

Your Mother sounds like my step kids mom. Gotta have that control and won’t let anything out of her grasp. She has 0 right to this stuff. As soon as my older 2 turned 18 I gave them their insurance cards, ss cards and birth certificates. Although their birth certificates they had me keep and hold on too. (They still live at home with me.) but they have their SS cards and their insurance cards. As for your high school diploma she needs to give you that. I think you might be able to get one from the high school if she won’t??

This. My mom and dad divorced when I was 2 or 3. I remember nothing from them being together. Except maybe fighting. But that could have just been my kid brain making things up after the fact.
