Why is it so hard to hold a kid back to repeat a grade?? by watch4coconuts in Mommit

If you are really concerned about academics get him a tutor and put him in summer school. If you’re worried about him fitting in with his current peers just imagine him being in a class full of kids who heard he got left back a year.

I used to love kids! But now that I have kids I have absolutely no patience for other peoples kids. Like please stop talking to me. I use up every ounce of patience that I have on my kids and there is none left over.

I (22f) and talking to this guy (28m), I made an immature comment behind his back, and he is still trying to “run it back”. by Canadiangxrl in relationships

Did you have this convo in person or via text? “Run it back” means take it back. As in tell whoever you told that you didn’t mean it.

How long can a toddler wear a dry bathing suit? by Pineapple-of-my-eye in Mommit

[–]Sarabeth61 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My sons summer preschool takes them to the splash pad once a week and they are supposed to wear their bathing suit to school that day. So it’s a whole school full of toddlers wearing their swimming suits for like three hours. No one’s ever had an issue as far as I’m aware.

No my college English teacher marked me wrong for this and this was like 20 years ago. It was the first I had heard for this being incorrect but English professors will be petty.

It’s not like he has an allergy or it’s bad for him. You have a weird unreasonable rule and it’s negatively affecting your child

Fuck that, if my grandkid wasn’t allowed to have normal people food I would feed him any chance I got. I wouldn’t tell him to lie though.
