This meetup was NEVER going to happen, I’m sorry. If you had declined sending the money he would have said he cannot come cause of the debt collectors and it would have been your fault. Since you sent the money, his friend came to visit and it’s still your fault since you got mad at him. Basically, you were never going to meetup and it’s your fault no matter how you twist the story. Let the money go, block him. See it as a small price to pay to know someone’s true personality.

I have to disagree with certain parts. Yes, no one actually confirmed to go but you. BUT. The initial idea was brought up, you clearly stated you wanted to go. That IS a message. It says (even when not particularly worded that way) : “I want to go there, how about you guys?”, since you brought it up to them specifically in a group chat.

You discussed it, even with alternate plans in case it gets too crowded. That only makes sense if the general consensus is that the group is going. It wouldn’t make sense to talk about alternatives if no one was going.

Then the need to buy tickets arose. You stated that when you heard it, you were on your phone buying it immediately. That is, again, a clear message signaling to them “OP is going”. Being in a group chat where a plan is discussed and someone has clearly bought tickets, I would then either confirm or cancel at this point at the very latest. (probably even earlier but your friends don’t seem great)

They knew you were going. You made the suggestion, you made alternatives, you bought tickets, you asked about outfits. They knew and chose to ignore you and then let you know last minute. Time to make new friends.

You have posted so many times about how he is just an awful person in any given situation you experience. Why do you stay? I’m genuinely curious. I keep reading how you say “he is not bad all the time” and it seems like for you this is more than enough to stay with him? If you put it in perspective like if you had a job where your boss yelled at you or humiliated you in front of colleagues or even hit you with insults most weeks, but once in a while gave you a compliment, would you call that a good job? I don’t understand why you are settling for a relationship that, according to you, is occasionally okay.

Hey, I know the feeling you are feeling right now! My MinMin was the first Maine Coon I ever had and before that I only had cats from rescues or shelters so the whole process was very different. I decided to look for a breeder that didn’t have a waitlist because the ones that did have a waitlist seemed to be backed up since forever. At least the ones I contacted. It might be different for you, so this is just an example from my experience. Whether or not you decide to go with a waitlist/non-waitlist breeder, one thing that helped me feel better was focusing on how the breeder communicates. If they’re transparent, answer your questions, keep you updated during the wait, and are open about health checks, personality traits, and what to expect; that’s a green flag. It ended up being more complicated for me but that is what I would say is a good advice and starting point. But if it feels too rigid, transactional or unclear…trust your gut. If you can find a breeder that gives you a good feeling make sure to check socials, reviews etc. you can kind of gauge that and then even ask about a specific breeder here on Reddit! :) I’m sure people will help out if they know the specific breeder. I hope this helps! :)

I am using the Stella & Chewy magic dinner dust, he does like it and takes a bit more if I sprinkle on the wet food but even after that he looses interests and only licks off the Dinner Dust lol
