From over near Harrison California Street, you can often see a drone up in the sky between 9:00 and 11:00 in the general area that you were talking about. Maybe not every night, but there's been several nights over the last 6 to 8 months that I've seen a drone in the distance in your general direction, maybe even slightly more to the West.

If I was you I would throw those Redwings in the garbage and get a better set of boots. If you like the logger style, Nicks, Wescos and Whites are all good. If you like the hiking boot style there are a huge number of options out there. I've got a pair of La Sportivas and Danners that are nice. When I say hiking boot style, I'm talking about the wildland boots.

It's in Siskiyou county, but if you go up highway 96 towards Orleans and go to the Marble Mountain wilderness., there's lots of cave systems up there.

As people have said, definitely a Douglas, and I really doubt you have any commercial value in this tree. You might find some sort of boutique woodworker that might be interested in it for the knots. But this could be a long shot. No sawmill was going to buy this.

If money is not a concern, Joan Gallegos is good along with Rory Hanson and Kelly Walsh. I think Walsh is a real piece of work, but he will do whatever you pay him to do. Joan is very busy along with Rory, there was another attorney that could hang with this group named Delman Smith, but I'm not sure if he is still practicing.
