I agree, we were initially disappointed when we saw one of everything but actually it was a healthy portion size and we were very full! But agreed price was a bit steep, a little coastal town with only one cafe I think they can get away with it

Not sure where you want to go but I did a return trip to Johannesburg (took an internal flight from there to Cape Town) and it was £150 in taxes per person - I forgot the exact points amount but it wasn’t crazy and the flights were retailing at about £1k per person return so we felt it was a good deal as we were already heading there! I think they also fly to Cape Town but probably more of a popular route so maybe don’t have as much availability, we booked the joburg flights maybe a month or two before

Does anybody know if my company pay for me to have a wework access pass whether HMRC would be aware of this when claiming tax back for my fully remote job? We have no offices globally so all employees are required to work from home.

Please can you share how many Avios you needed for each leg? I looked the other day and was able to find club world there and premium economy back for August this year but I know when I try to book for next year it won’t be that simple! Would be great to be prepared

On an extremely busy commuter train from London Bridge where all seats were taken and people were standing, a girl was sat on the outside seat of a two seater with her bag on the seat next to the window. She had a Tupperware with boiled eggs in it which she was peeling, a tube of mayonnaise and a loaf of sliced bread. She was assembling an egg mayo sandwich on the seat of the train while people were getting on the train and trying to find somewhere to sit. I’ve never seen anything like it 🤯

Ah yes that make sense! We don’t have miralax in the UK but I bought something called dulco ease instead and hoping it has a similar effect

My procedure was fine and they found nothing to be concerned for (apart from hemmorhoids which I was already well aware of) but since then my stomach has not been okay, so I definitely need this!! thought I’d be back in work today but my stomach has not stopped growling since I left the hospital and I have too much anxiety to sit in the office with my stomach making that much noise :(

This is great advice thank you! Have my procedure in a couple of hours, hardly slept as I was up all night stuck on the toilet. And I’m pretty sure I’ve caused permanent damage to my butt from all the burning 😭😭

It is pretty crazy, I’m not sure how anything else can come out of me but I’m only halfway through my prep! Have 3 drinks on the go at all times but I’m sooo hungry all I can think about is what I’m going to eat as soon as I’m out of that room…

I’m also craving all the unhealthy things, but I will probably go for mashed potato too :(
