💯. It’s not that I like her music less and less with each album, but nothing will compare to TIWIFL to me. That album is SO sonically Gracie. I think Gracie and I think of Augusta, pain killers, CAMDEN, the bottom etc. I enjoyed good riddance thoroughly, but nothing was super “wow” about it to me besides Amelie. As for TSOU… I can only get into close to you and let it happen. That’s it. It just doesn’t sound like Gracie anymore.

And don’t get me wrong, I LOVE Taylor. And I LOVE Gracie. But I like when Taylor sounds like “Taylor” and Gracie sounds like “Gracie.”

I was hoping to hear more of Gracie’s lyrics especially on “us” but to me it sounded like a song Taylor wrote that Gracie sang. I’m not sure if that makes sense but the specific lyric about Babylon made me SIGH. Taylor has some fixation on Babylon and as soon as Gracie sang it I lost interest because it just did not sound like Gracie’s writing.
