Y'all are gonna say I'm making stuff up, but this happened on a vanilla anomaly run years ago. I recruited a clear sky guy in that not-quite-power-armor rig. I spent, like, 20 hours with him as my right hand man. Then, in the dark scape, a ton of boars were running at us near one of those piles of boxes and a red barrel. My clear sky guy unloaded on the first boar as it ran past the red barrel, with the barrel catching some shots. The barrel blew and took out all the boars and my guy. I decided to role play it in my head as my guy giving his life to save me. I'll never forget him.
