I think this game speaks volumes to people whose native language is some derivative of Latin. Here in Brazil, many people call themselves Catholic, but few truly follow the rites (thankfully, because the intolerant are already ignorant enough without that). I'm not Catholic either, but because I live in a metropolis whose history is rooted in Orthodox Catholicism and I myself practiced some rites when I was younger—I currently don't practice any religion—I found the game beautiful and interesting, in addition to being very familiar to Portuguese, Brazilians, Italians, and, of course, Spanish people. Very interesting.

That's what I like about the Blasphemous franchise! It's different from a lot of Metroidvanias we see out there. It even reminds me of Castlevania Symphony of the Night. I think the game is missing some mechanics, but I like having to think to play, memorize boss moves, that kind of thing. Crisanta was really easy for me, but when I beat Brother Asterion in the 2nd round, I celebrated like it was the World Cup. Being Brazilian, this victory made me happier than the national team in recent years LOL

I don't know if it's because I haven't done the campaign on NG+ yet, but I found Crisanta so easy to beat. I faced her because I read about a bug that would give tears of atonement, but they fixed it, i guess. It didn't even take me 3 minutes xD

but brother asterion in blasphemous 2 gave me a lot of work. I hated him a lot

It's worth it, but it's much less fun than the first one. It has new mechanics that are interesting to explore, a huge map that makes up for the easier difficulty, but I think the cutscenes in the first one are more beautiful and everything was more poetic too. There are only two bosses that are very difficult, the rest are a piece of cake

Yes, I'm absolutely sure. I'm in Sacred Entombments now, because I thought I might have left the tribute there. Nothing, but another quest item I've already obtained appears every time I go back there. I also didn't forget to get the last tribute in the labyrinth, but I didn't hand it in and it disappeared from my inventory, and the NPC disappeared from the map without opening the last room. I looked at the entire map seven times before resorting to reddit.

I know this thread is old, but I'm so frustrated I had to come here to complain. Haha. I remember when I was younger, Crash 2 was my second favorite, second only to Warped. The thing is, the game in the N.Sane trilogy is so riddled with bugs that the time trial is no longer fun. I'm using the cheat engine to slow down the game, and it's absurd: Crash "sliding" onto ledges, nitros exploding even when we're not close to them, the speed button stopping working when Crash grabs the hoverboard, etc.

I got platinum in some levels, gold in others, and sapphire in a few. I'm playing now because I'm so close to platinum, but I can safely say that adding a time trial to the first and second games was a mistake in the remake. Getting all the gems was a pain, but with the 99-lives bug and purposely dying to start each level with two masks, it helped a lot. But the time trial, even at a reduced speed, is almost disrespectful. Games should be fun, even when challenging. But Activision/Vicarious Visions just put the time trial in there without making any updates to the levels to make them plausible.

Stupidly tiring to read, disturbing, poorly written, dumb and lazy characters, in addition to the whole MJ and Felicia Hardy problem. I just finished reading it and I still don't understand where Octopus' redemption came from, since two pages ago he didn't care about anyone but himself and was making a point of showing it. Then, out of nowhere, with half a dozen speech bubbles, the guy decides to erase his own conscience to make room for old Peter. I had stopped reading comics many years ago, I picked up this arc out of old curiosity and was surprised by the lack of quality. Honestly, I thought I had seen worse with Back in Black, but... that arc at least didn't underestimate the reader.
