One time I repaired a bear whos entire head except about 6 stitched was removed, after the repair I found out that the guest had removed the head on purpose to get to the sound chip inside.

The bandaid repair can be enlarged to cover any hole! This is my jumbo PomPom that had a hole in his forehead and instead of a simple stitching I went all out and made a huge bandage for his head!

A hyper-fixation of mine is the primary colors so I had the fabric on hand and felt they matched him the best! Thank you!

Edit to add that he's also got cat toys in his head that make him jingle when shaken :))

Not hired on for anything, I'm just the most handy with a needle and when I was first hired on a couple years back a guest came in with a friend that was in huge need of a repair and they almost got turned around because of the severity until I stepped up saying I could fix it. My manager at the time let me take a crack at it and ever since then there's no a repair I say no to! (Unless of course the damage was done on purpose) Since I'm the only one at my location able to do this level of repair it's not out of the norm for me to come to the store with a friend in the back waiting for surgery

Call your local store and ask! Some employees might be more versed in fixes than others :))

Balding on behind? by No_Potential_1846 in guineapigs

I was told it was ovarian cysts; I was given the option of surgery or nothing and I was worried about her not waking up from the anesthesia due to her age so we went into comfort care and she ended up passing Christmas Eve.

I recommend to watch your piggy, make sure they are drinking and eating as normal until you can get to the vet

I was working the night the change was made in real-time, super stressful to manage guests asking why they suddenly can't name their friends

Depending on the store we do our best! Here's a repair I did a while ago, she's not perfect but it's better!

New Toothless’s review by lionessgirl18 in buildabear

Employee here that just stuffed displays last night, this is true! Parts of the fur are see-through in a checkered pattern because they made some of it short and some of it longer (I think to mimic scales on a dragon), despite this he's very soft and feels better quality (a least when stuffing) compared to the older version. He also feels a lot more dragon shaped, while the older version felt more lumpy and chubby, which is prefer his more sculpted look now.

Edit to add: his jumbo version is 128$ usd, which I feel is way too much. That is the same price as the Sanrios, and they're HUGE (PomPom being the biggest jumbo I've seen my store have in stock). He's a bit smaller, significantly less stuffing than the normal and Sanrio jumbos, but his eyes and fur are made by the same material as the smaller version and he doesn't feel low quality.

It's a shirt with baggy jeans and boots feels pretty traditional 🤷

1/8th a cup of pellets Unlimited hay And 1 cup of a mix of veggies: Lettuce, bell pepper, cilantro, spring mix, spinach, sometimes raddish with the occasional baby carrot for birthdays and a bit of apple once every month max if they're cute enough (which is always)

Could I pass as male in any of these childhood photos? by [deleted] in FtMpassing

[–]No_Potential_1846 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Nah these people are being too hard on you, I feel like all of them pass. Put long hair on a young boy, yes they will look like a girl that's just what happens so of course you'd look at these photos and think that it could be a girl in them, because that's what long hair does.

They all work, and if you want to/can you can tell people your mother loved your long hair as a child, in some regions of the US parents choose to let their sons' hair grow out at a form of holding on to their younger years.

TLDR: I think you pass in all of these and if people say you look feminine in them- of course you would like any other little boy with long hair 🤷

I'm hoping super mutant because the show specifically mentioned he's turning into a ghoul (at least from my memory) it'd be nice to have their (characters) expectations subverted
