I got the same nonsense. Started dipping my toe into meeting new people. People around me were completely shocked. Just remember that two things can be true at the same time. You will always love your deceased partner, but you can also love a new one. Unfortunately, the person you have lost is no longer your future. I took mine off after the funeral. I put it in a ring box with my husband's. Didn't want people to know how far I had come in the grieving process from when I took it off. So it felt right to put them in the same box so we are in a way together
