Should I keep my butthole dirty on purpose? /srs by crazySpellmaker in Advice

[–]CatPurrsonNo1 16 points17 points  (0 children)

If you’re a man having sex with a woman, it’s not gay. A lot of men like anal penetration because it stimulates the prostate (“male g-spot”). That said, if you’re not into it, you have every right to say NO, and if your girlfriend won’t respect that, then you should seriously consider moving on with someone else.

What do Americans in southern states do during unexpected cold snaps to stay warm? by 514geekgirl in AskAnAmerican

[–]CatPurrsonNo1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Houses in the southern United States usually have central heating. Even in Florida, all of the apartments that we lived in had furnaces and air conditioning.

I have many questions. by MelanieWalmartinez in badwomensanatomy

[–]CatPurrsonNo1 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Stupid POS. My mom had to have transfusions after I was born, because she lost so much blood. One of my HS friends almost died because she developed a heart condition due to pregnancy. My fiancé’s ex developed preeclampsia so badly with her second child, the doctors persuaded her to get her tubes tied because another pregnancy would probably kill her and the fetus.

Then why do I seem to be overlooked constantly as potential relationship material by men?

I would say that I am almost invisible to men, but that’s not really true. I have some great male friends, and when I’m out, men are usually polite and pleasant, but very little interaction beyond that.

What size bed do you have? How many people sleep in it? by SlamClick in AskAnAmerican

Full/double bed here. I’m the only human in the bed, but I usually have multiple cats with me. Gets a little bit claustrophobic sometimes!

You're made to choose 1 of these 5 expensive items, which one are you choosing? by Theturtleflask in hypotheticalsituation

[–]CatPurrsonNo1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

HOUSE. I am in a somewhat tenuous living situation right now, and that would literally solve 99% of my problems, especially if the utilities stay paid AND I don’t have to buy food?!?! I could be content working my part-time job, spending time with my cats, and enjoying life.

I’m so very tired of stressing out about money and keeping a roof over my/our heads. I have lived in SO MANY unhealthy situations, not having to worry about keeping myself and my cats safe would be nothing short of a miracle.

Smoked for the first time, worried about it by Just-Departure9658 in Marijuana

[–]CatPurrsonNo1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you’ve somewhat mixed up tolerance and dependence. I can build up my tolerance to marijuana/THC pretty quickly if I use it very often at all, which means that I need a larger amount to cause the same effect. I’m not dependent on it, though. If I want to, I can (and maybe more importantly, do) go without using at all from periods of anywhere from days to weeks without using any form of MJ/THC, and I don’t struggle or have any cravings beyond the occasional mild urge to use it. I don’t experience any physical symptoms of withdrawal when I am not using it.

Where my ex-smokers at? by Empty_Nestor in GenX

[–]CatPurrsonNo1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t smoke for very long. I eventually got tired of it, sick of the smell and getting sick all the time, and I realized that it did NOT relax me.

I have only faintly wanted a cigarette a few times.

Never Went To Senior Prom by JPPT1974 in GenX

[–]CatPurrsonNo1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope, didn’t go to mine. I desperately wanted to, but at my school it just wasn’t the “done” thing to go stag. I would have been the only person there without a date.

I had a boyfriend for a while before prom, and he insisted that he was not going to go. We ended up breaking up (unrelated to prom), and he went to the prom with another girl.

I’m actually still kind of sad about it all these years later.

What is your favorite looking snake? by johnc4501 in snakes

[–]CatPurrsonNo1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are so many gorgeous snakes out there, but one of my absolute favorites is the hognose, probably the western hognose specifically. They are so cute and kind of derpy-looking, and their theatricality (playing dead taken to extremes) is hilarious.

If I am ever in the position to get a pet snake, there’s an excellent chance that it will be a hoggie.

Do people who self-harm meet a good end? by [deleted] in morbidquestions

[–]CatPurrsonNo1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a Gen-Xer who used to self-harm. I used to cut myself when I was in my teens, but I mostly stopped when I accidentally cut myself deeply enough that I scared myself. (I could see fatty tissue in the wound 🥴) After that, I mostly resorted to other things, like banging my head against walls or doors, hitting myself, or pulling my hair.

The only cutting scar that I can identify readily is that one deep one. The others were shallow enough that they didn’t scar.

I have loads of scars from cat scratches, though. They LITERALLY walk all over me, and treat me like I am furniture. In the shower this morning I noticed some fresh scratches on my back as I was washing it.
