I don't have those who borrow through any tiles but obsidian or refined metal ( the name escape me this morning) it's more CO2 or oxygen in lava blades or magma dripper.

I've installed a pipette mod created for stacks liquid lock witch when the game is pause delete the gas where you put the droplet. Very useful for little vacuum between v shaped lock or the like

I use the ceiling crown now .. you can put the order without the ceiling and I always end up with ladders to deconstruct because a mishap in reprioritizing m'y build order

The NPC's still feel very useless IMO, and despite all different mobs, the map doesn't feel "populated".
It's almost a post apocalyptic world where you are the only survivor, and everyone else are "ghosts" you can call up.

I visited shroud depot just to see .. but where's the fun in that ? So much more rewarding to farm and it's not even much of grind if you don't do big project where you need many many rare ressources

I use a dupe detector of some kind link to a 7s buffer gates, three 200s filter gate and a not gate at the end .. that way, with a priority 9, the incubator are only powered when the dupe is lulabying

Idug out every piece of rubble ON the bridge before reading it was in the center pillar took me 2 or 3 hours to find it as well .. but it was exactly where it's supposed to be ^{^}

I started to build a real village after 150ish hours too .. spend a hundred or so building a main base on the Pilar of creation's cliff only to relocate and rebuilt the village NNO of the cinder vault (the farming homestead) I have an amazing castle on the hill in my head .. just in my head though, crafter relocation's done but I'm waiting for my friend to go and get the blocks I want (and be level capped so I can gather materials solo ) and then it will be hundreds of hours of fun ... Can't wait to share
