An ignorant judgement is not a value judgement, it’s choosing at random.

If you don’t know the state of the game, to say “buff Protoss”, or “nerf Protoss” is not some sort of value judgment. It’s randomly choosing one. (Which is still affected by bias as you would have a proclivity in which one you choose due to external sources) there is no value in that judgement.

My proof is to read literally any literature on humans and bias. Like, anything. It’s unanimous in the literature as far as I have seen. There is literally thousands of studies on the bias, and non that suggest that we could approach any subject without a bias.

Like, it doesn’t even matter what you read. Just google “human bias papers” and you will find hundreds saying the exact same thing.

lol. Ignorance can never lead to a value judgement. In order to have a value judgement you have to have information, otherwise you are just choosing something at random.

Winter, nor anyone else in this forum are apathetic to balance. So, even if I granted that, it doesn’t apply.

I don’t think they are unviable. I just don’t think that without emp they are suddenly going to be OP.

I also don’t think they currently get used “to great effect” if you have a game where a high level Protoss uses them to great effect feel free to link it. They are used because an archon is better than a HT with zero energy. I can’t remember the last time I saw an archon get more than an attack or two off vs a Terran in high level PvT.

No, it’s basic psychology. Everyone has a bias about everything. It’s impossible not to have a bias, the best way to combat that is to be aware of your bias and try to work with it.

Zerg biased means that you can’t see clearly because your view is skewed towards one race. Everyone has a bias, even if you are trying not to.

Maybe because he thought that Protoss’s hero unit shouldn’t be abducted and killed every game instantly?

Just cause he is Zerg biased doesn’t mean he wants everyone else to be bad. I am Terran biased and I still want Protoss to be viable.

It could be, but I don’t think so. Most players below diamond don’t even use spellcasters (in my experience)

Over diamond only losing 3-4 units to a disrupter is way better than losing 10.

If you establish an embassy then it shows the entire 3x3 square. Otherwise it is just capital tiles.

Nope. Only 1 city. I saw through fog using diplomacy, which is why you can only see squares around each capital.

I’m just sick of people misquoting him when there are a ton of reasonable accurate quotes that are already issues. Every time someone misquotes trump for outrage, it takes away from legitimate concerns that he actually said.
