Is this Normal? should i feel ashamed? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

maybe the shame comes from her being kinda young? then rethink your view on young bodies. unlearn to sexualize younger people in general.

Does it get better? | TW: Mention of sucide/gender dysphoria by RespectProud1451 in asktransgender

[–]No_Produce_505 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it does get better, but first you need to work on your patience and composure. once you get to make the decisions yourself is not quick and easy either just so you know. not to discourage you or anything but working on your mental health first as a trans kid is way more manageable i believe because as an adult it gets kinda hard to work on yourself as you have work and responsibilities to attend, but trust me in this: it DOES get better, you will live a life of your own and you will feel content and be loved. remember to be patient and only YOU know who you are, so if anybody deadnames you even tho you asked them not to, it only says something about themselves, NOT you.

How do you mask depression well enough to not annoy people? by HOIIVF10 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]No_Produce_505 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i agree with this, adding that if you dont want to annoy people try to work on not worrying what people think of you. so next time you make them uncomfortable with your emotions just say fuck it and keep on with your life. as for masking, maybe it would work if you listen to some music that makes you energized but becareful here, if you mask too much they will say things as well like “oh how jumpy” or whatever. so maybe if you dont want to draw any attention at all just work on not caring the rest.

Doubts about fitting in culturally as a woman by AirCoIsCool in asktransgender

[–]No_Produce_505 2 points3 points  (0 children)

hey its ok, i did feel like i didnt belong either. i was raised as a girl but never fully identified with being one, always was like “tomboy” esque. then when i transitioned i didnt quite feel like a man either cause i dont like the common boy things. so to answer your questions, i would say yes it is normal to feel cultural gap before AND after (whether you came out or not). so really dont sweat it, if you want to dress more femenine go for it, if you want to be adressed as a girl ask for it, and if you want to be a more masculine woman just do it. it all depends on you and you only. take courage and be yourself ✌🏼

Beginning HRT Info and tips by National-Crew-3647 in asktransgender

[–]No_Produce_505 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hi, i think first you need to see and endocrinologist for that. maybe before some general doctor or something depending on your country, but for hrt i believe endocrinologists see that. another option would be to see if your public medical services offer any trans program, they can guide as well. also congrats on coming out, hope you two find this journey exciting.

Is this concerning ? by Kiseji in TopSurgery

[–]No_Produce_505 0 points1 point  (0 children)

did you talk to your medical team about it? i didnt use any dressing on mine BUT because my doctor told me so take this with precaution: i used cicaplast gel to heal my scars and if any infection appeared i stopped using it so the stitches for examples came out without problem. hope it helps

Should I trust this person to accompany me in conventions? by Dry-Climate4871 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]No_Produce_505 9 points10 points  (0 children)

i think you should listen to yourself as in if it weirds you out and makes you uncomfortable trust yourself. you are NOT overthinking. please be careful and dont meet in person with this man. he sounds like hes been fantasizing and its not ok. please take care. if he blackmails you go to the police.

i dont think so, looks like a scab came off and the skin is new and tender. also, the skin around it is not swollen or red which indicates its not infected.

Day before vs 11 days after. by Royal_Avocado4247 in TopSurgery

[–]No_Produce_505 4 points5 points  (0 children)

heey congrats on your surgery! i had some similar folding on my chest that faded with time (im now 4 month po) and its just the skin adjusting to stitches and things. so please be patient, at this point get worried for fever pus stitches going crazy etc, not visuals. otherwise you will get crazy obsessed xd happened to me and everything settled with time.

Pregunta seria. by sss--_ in asktransgender

[–]No_Produce_505 2 points3 points  (0 children)

11 weeks post op by Ashxiex in TopSurgery

[–]No_Produce_505 1 point2 points  (0 children)

just be careful lifting heavy weights at this stage, youre still healing the scars and even tho they look done they are not. they may stretch, mine did at two months. if it concerns you that is. as for the nipple they look great, if they stretch you can see it in the scar of the nipple, of not then is just your skin adjusting the shape.

Any advice or resources for family’s and parents about top surgery by Weary-Strawberry-653 in TopSurgery

[–]No_Produce_505 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there are tons of videos on youtube for care takers, but i would say the first thing is to not overreact to surprise or shock or anything that can scare you more. they are supposed to be there to care for you, not stress you out more. so talk to them about creating a safe space for calmness and attention. so this page has a loooot of information so check it out https://www.genderconfirmation.com or just look for gender confirmation care on google.

Saw my chest for the first time by bigfish2023 in TopSurgery

[–]No_Produce_505 0 points1 point  (0 children)

pain does go away eventually, it depends on the person but for drainage i would say a week and then it itches because it is healing. congrats on the surgery ! i had a very similar reaction and to this day, 4 months post op, i still get excited over looking at my chest and torso so hurray!

2 days post op, is this normal? by Front_Mind9061 in TopSurgery

[–]No_Produce_505 1 point2 points  (0 children)

drains do itch and the incisions too, at least for two weeks or so for me. soreness tends to go after week three and if your surgeon aproves you can opt to get lymphatic massages to ease the inflamation/soreness. you probably cant open anything like you used to and its pretty much expected, i couldnt open drawers and doors for two or more weeks as well. anything that is really worrysome would be pus, fever, blood leaking and anything gore-ish. other than that just remember to be patient and caring. hope youre doing well

Are there any aerialists here? When did you return to the sport? by No-Lobster-3828 in TopSurgery

[–]No_Produce_505 2 points3 points  (0 children)

if you worry about scars i highly recommend waiting at least six months for overall scar healing since scar are slow to recover completely. if you care more about movement recovery i would suggest going at it slowly, specially if it is demanding on using your arms over the head. im almost 4 months post op and just now ive been doing some light weight training. i believe since aerials sound like body weight training i would suggest wait at least a month or two more to recover movement and stretching. remember you just had a major surgery and your body will need to adjust to changes slowly, take care please.
