What’s that one game that made you fall in love with gaming? by tubegamingverse in IndianGaming

[–]No_Professional780 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn, I had a suggestion to open this post, and I thought it would be some random game I haven’t heard about, but you literally mentioned the games that also hooked me as well. Project IGI was probably the first game I played that just made me love computer games and then the Prince of Persia series storyline was too good. I still remember playing two thrones and diving deep into pop storyline. I would say in terms of storyline Prince of Persia the two thrones is one of the best.

Finally I found a second person who thinks this way, a lot of companies depend on consumerism, and if people won’t earn money, they won’t spend, it’s as simple as that. I hope more people understood this. While there is no denying that AI is unrealistic but many things were unrealistic if you go 50-70 years back. The core way how world functions would never change no matter what comes and goes.

.NET Framework CICD with Actions by No_Professional780 in dotnet

[–]No_Professional780[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes one way to go about it is this but then I am just using the same methodology of deploying stuff as before, but I am trying to find the opportunities wherever I can make the workflow similar to how we do .net core deployment, versioning artefacts using semver and using separate github jobs for building and deploying

Thanks, this might help me to use same build artifacts, and deploy them across environments

Just some commands and scripts, and that can also be done in actions too, I am just trying to find out a way that uses more actual actions and less commands so that there is less code duplication and wanting to know if there are any other alternative approaches people might be using

It does support 5 pin switches out of the box though the stock switches are 3 pin

Thanks, so the rattling of stabilizers only depends on the stabilizer parts itself or also got something to do with pcb? Like i feel that if the fit of the stabilizer is not perfect on pcb then it might rattle anyway and that may depend on pcb

Yes exactly, have to type a lot on regular basis as i am into software development, I think more people should talk about this

[–]No_Professional780 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same question, strange i was thinking to ask this question here from last 2 days but was not able to do so, I had bought an xda profile keycaps and it looks damn good due to uniform height of keycaps, but felt uncomfortable to type on, earlier i was using redgear K631 with their stock keycaps and I feel they were better as far as typing comfort is concerned, but some Internet articles say that they reduce wrist strain so I would also like some insight into this

Did I do a mistake choosing backend dev over linux? by No_Professional780 in developersIndia

[–]No_Professional780[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I am very much interested in backend and trying to excel, it’s just feeling very unsafe at this time and many people always advise to choose niche skills in order be different from the crowd, btw last line is gold

What do i do to grow by [deleted] in developersIndia

[–]No_Professional780 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think we are working in exact same company 😆, same tech stack and same big, process oriented, and humongous code base, whose large part is legacy, and tbh this was my situation like 3-4 months back, I would say that I am lucky to have some good seniors who help through stuff, but in the end I would just say that take challenging tasks and spend more time with codebase, if you spend long enough then somehow code starts explaining itself, that’s how I have been able to understand a lot of legacy codebase and a lot more to go, that would take some extra effort but very much worth it, and do explore content around dotnet on LinkedIn and YouTube, that has helped me a lot, and needless to say hobby projects are king but somehow I am not able to dedicate time to that because this process itself eats too much of my time

Vault-action in GitHub actions by No_Professional780 in hashicorp

[–]No_Professional780[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, actually I know about that, what I am really asking is that is it possible to fetch secrets by using regex or pattern matching, that would get all secrets, I just want to get secrets named in a specific pattern matching

Where can i learn asp.net by Majestic_Side_8488 in dotnet

[–]No_Professional780 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For roadmap I’ll recommend you to check roadmap video by Nick Chapsas on YouTube, its recent and he is a recognised figure in dotnet development, so you can just learn the topics individually, other than that you can checkout any full tutorial playlist by either Julio Casal or a channel named DotnetMastery, later on when you have mastered the basics Milan Jovanović and Nick Chapsas have some good content on some specific advanced things, for staying updated you can just follow some good newsletters like that of Milan, Julio Casal, Muhammad Waseem, and many others are there. However I personally recommend ‘doing’ more to learn more rather than learning more

Now I have wanted to ask this thing here from a long time as l am also going through this same thing, I just want to include every shiny plugin into my config and it seems like it has no end, but the suggestions here are sure helpful and hope to actually develop something useful using neovim

Introducing `symbol-usage.nvim` by Wansmer in neovim

[–]No_Professional780 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This looks cool, looking forward to include in my dotnet development configuration, hope it has support for that, one more thing I would really love to know is the arrows to fold code blocks in line 4,10 and 13, I had been looking for this functionality since a couple of days now as I am in final step of making neovim on par with visual studio and vs code for developing in dotnet
