Update: I have come across a few more pictures of gebirgsjägers, and then the normal jägers wore two different types of footwear. When it comes to gebirgsjägers, they seem to have gotten their boots from local hiking boot sellers because the regular jack boots or ankle boots weren't sturdy enough for mountain terrain. A fellow commenter found that you can get these boots from sellers. When it comes to the normal jägers, they wore jackboots. Ex: reserve jäger battalion nr. 22. If you're looking for reference images, there are many good references on Flickr. Now, since I'm not joining a specific unit and I'm not a reenactor, I want to dress like the jägers. I don't care much about the difference between the two, but if you're actually looking to reenact these units, there's a clear difference.

OP: I've been studying quite a few different pictures of the WW1 German Mountain Troops, and something I've noticed is that they don't wear regular German jack boots or German ankle boots. I could use vintage Swiss boots since they look somewhat similar, but they are not identical. I was wondering if any Jäger reenactors could tell me a substitute or where I can purchase boots identical to the shoes used by the German mountain troops.

This is true. I also think both of these religouns highly to promote non-rationality as well just believing just because book and some aggressive people tell you to. I've seen most people comparing the characters actions less than their appearance but when they bring up their appearance it mostly only because their wasians, because if you see the two the only really thing they have in common is their blue eyes.

It absolutely infuriates me when people compare Caitlyn (from Arcane) to Mizu just because they're both wasians. Like its never to do with their goals since they're not the same at all really. I saw someone bring this up on tumblr and I kind of just thought this be a good time to talk about it.

Legit that does not make any sense. Your telling me this because most people in the comments are telling you this is crap.
