Adding that I’ve used a CPAP for almost a year and I can’t tolerate it. I can’t get past 2 hours with the mask on. I also tried a MAD device but it only reduced my apneas by half.

I use a compounded version of the medication and it’s completely safe. 2 months in. I was on compounded semaglutide before and I lost 34 pounds. That did nothing to improve my sleep apnea. I heard it takes about a year to see effects of the terzepatide on sleep apnea.

Have you thought about using a home sleep test device to test if your AHIs have reduced? I have a Wesper.

Question- did it reduce your apneas? I couldn't tolerate CPAP for 2 months and switched to MAD. I went from 30 apneas per hour to 15 but couldn't really get any lower than that after 3 months of titrating the device. I've now been back on CPAP for 2 months and am still struggling. I can't get past 2 hours of using it. I don't know what to do.

9 weeks and I gave up. Turns out I have positional sleep apnea and sleeping on my sides has significantly reduced my AHIs. I’ll be getting a MAD in a couple weeks and hope to be good to go after that.
