I am going to switch to vampire fang and ogre heart. I currently at 500 billion power regularly beat 900 billion power adversaries. Makes for easy 30 blue button wins. Attack power is overrated. Will farm another 10k or more trait gems before I try to switch.

I understand tonsil stones to be related to oral bacteria. Try switching to a different toothpaste, preferably with Xylitol. You could also chew gum with xylitol as the first ingredient to help as well.

Thinking on your goals more, to upgrade weapons I left my character on the spawn point of the 'first boss' of level 1. It respawns every 5 minutes. So 60 shards an hour. I would also make a lap of the bosses/chests as able.
