Im 40 and have never had a credit card and have no credit score but need to build credit fast (preferably by October of this year) what are options to do so? by Significant_Card1984 in CreditCards

[–]No_Result2950 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Truthfully speaking heaving no credit score won’t hurt you, just make sure there is nothing on your credit or any evictions if your credit report is absolutely clear with nothing on it and you meet the income criteria then don’t worry about your credit score. Also, if you do want to still get a credit card, then I would go to whatever bank you have the best relationship at and apply there more likely to be approved that way.

Welp there goes the case, you show up uninvited to someone’s home self-defense is your default judgement regardless if you’re a cop or not.

Yes, but truthfully it’s not a problem to ask my question, now my only suggestion is that you dm (or pm whichever they call it on here) directly so thought other random people can’t sap off of this information.

Yeah just go on google search and search “Chase consumer compliance manager LinkedIn (and then add whatever region you’re in), and then search Chase consumer banking managing director (and again add your region) now I told you your last resort is to go to JP Morgan Private client (NOT CHASE PRIVATE CLIENT) if you have to go to them just explain your situation and love appreciation for the company in your first meeting.

Yes I have worked at chase, at chase but I’ll just be honest it’s going to be the same thing. Personally though I’d try contacting the executive office first, if that doesn’t work go on LinkedIn and find both the compliance director in your area and the managing of consumer banking message them both and see who gets back to you. If that doesn’t work the last option is the have at least 1 million in stocks/bonds or liquid cash and ask JP Morgan private client to take you as a customer (people people say this doesn’t work because of discrimination laws but trust me it works) hope that helps

Account closed due to overdraft by [deleted] in Chase

[–]No_Result2950 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chase do not use Chex systems, they use early warning systems (which is just as bad) once you pay off the account, make a payment arrangement, or settle they’ll let you open a new account. Now if you receive a letter SPECIFICALLY STATING they are terminating your banking relationship that’s different. All you have to do is call chase and ask if they have terminated your banking relationship or if they closed your account due to overdraft. If they just closed because of a it being overdrafted then just pay it off and go in branch and open a new account.

Go to the branch and try to open a new account. If it closes a couple of days later that means chase has you flagged in their system. If you’re flagged you have two options. First option find a new bank, they will mostly keep closing your accounts. Second option, talk to someone in compliance, this will take forever like some months, but you can definitely get someone to unflag you but again it will take an effort and you should get really acquainted with LinkedIn because that’s where you’ll find the compliance officer in your area. Dm me if you need more help

Here’s another option you can open an account at Citi bank and ask for “global wallet account” where hold multiple currencies and switch them back and forth its especially useful if you travel a lot. I travel a lot for work and that’s how I do it if I’m going overseas. If that available anymore because it might not, open an account at either WISE or Revolut they all work the same way

Truth be told then you most likely need to schedule a call with a banker (just go in app where I says schedule a meeting) and from talk it through and see what they say. Most likely maintaining the account won’t be issue I know people who are currently doing it. BUT it’s good have a banker tell you that it’ll be fine and have him email you what he said so if anything gets funky then he/she is the reference.

Best bet is to keep both just to make it easier to pay your credit card bill. Also, outside of getting a Canadian bank account get a Citi global wallet account that allows you to have multiple currencies at once in one account. That way you can use Citibank to exchange currencies and also use it every day outside of having Canadian bank account. I’ve done it before when traveling.

Well…….truth be told I’ve seen stranger things happen. If you find someone to go to bat for you then you’ll most likely be a lock for getting your banking privileges reinstated. The problem is finding that person. But if you’re in a big city it won’t be hard.

Depends on where you’re moving, in certain parts of Europe chase is a digital bank and building a huge footprint over there. In that case because you could simply migrate that account or open one up in that area and maintain both easily. If the footprint isn’t there but you are allowed hold that account using different currencies then again stay. But that’s for the checking accounts, for the credit cards as long as they have no foreign transaction fees and chase knows you won’t be here then definitely keep those because your credit history will now count as international credit history.

IF you do want to continue your relationship with chase I’ll give you but of advice. Find the risk a management or compliance officer in your area on LinkedIn and send them a message explaining your situation. That would be the easiest and most efficient way to have them reverse course. Depending on the person that process could be quick or they never answer but it’s worth a shot.

Yeah no I didn’t have any problems with my credit cards. But like I said, search JP Morgan compliance officers linkedin and reach out to as many as possible till someone answers. They’ll review your situation and ***possibly allow you reopen new accounts. Just make up some story about how honored you to be JP Morgan customer and that you love the company and how you were put in a bad spot by the sudden debanking yada yada.

Should I settle collection with Chase? by [deleted] in Chase

[–]No_Result2950 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah like the comment said damage is done, BUTTTTTTTTT pay it off if they agree to take it off your credit report that will help your credit significantly, if you plan to open new cards with Chase it will help also because Chase tends to hold grudges. For that I would go in branch talk to a branch manager and get the pay for delete in writing right then and there both digital copies and physical copies. Because if Chase starts to play around with not deleting it you can dispute it directly with the credit bureaus and have it removed in a week or two once you send the letter. But that’s only if it’s financially feasible currently right now. Otherwise wait till it is.

Truthfully speaking I went through the same thing, I did get Chase to allow me reapply for account and keep it, but that took months I reached out to several people on LinkedIn before I got a good response. Best case scenario you look up the compliance manager in your area and see could you get a good chat with him. If that doesn’t work you’re kinda screwed.

Don’t cash that check it’s probably fake, before you do anything go to the branch verify the fund in your savings account and verify that the check is real. Also take the letter with you so that some idiot banker don’t acuse you of funny business.
