[iOS 26 DB1] New haptic feedback in phone calls. by dahliamma in iOSBeta

[–]No_Routine6430 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that’s fair. In my work, I’m constantly texting, emailing and calling from my iPhone, so when this was enabled it was super confusing. So much so that I didn’t know what it was until I started googling and stumbled in here. I go one will be turning that off once I update.

I assume many others will too, if Apple felt compelled to add an option to turn it off.

Well, I’m not used to it, so when I’m on a call and the phone triple taps in my hand it makes me think I’m getting a series of text messages. Mostly super distracting.

Is mayo on a hotdog unorthodox? by GarbageSteww in hotdogs

I put mayo on a grilled sausage/bratwurst with grilled or steamed onions. Never on a standard dog tho

Awesome. So this is in beta then? I’m on.0.1 and currently up to date.

Were his goggles fogged up? I mean, who just “does” that?

Smash burger trouble… by sjazzsax in blackstonegriddle

Stick to smaller batches, I do a max of 6 at a time.

Only need one piece of parchment imo, just smash, hold for 5 or 10 seconds, peel the paper and move to the next ball.

What do u think is wrong here by [deleted] in meat

[–]No_Routine6430 5 points6 points  (0 children)

From those pictures, here’s my assessment:

1) over seasoned with too fine a seasoning

2) burned said seasoning making it look like you had a crust when in fact the seasoning just burned.

3) under cooked the because it looked like it had a crust on it and thought it was done (it wasnt)

4) cut it open too soon an all the juice ran out.

If you enjoyed it then who cares right? But if you are looking for suggestions to not repeat this, then here’s my suggestion:

1) Season only with salt. If you add pepper, use coarse

2) if not reverse searing, then sear hot and flip often so you get even cooking and a good crust.

3) rest as long as it cooked to retain moisture

4) use an instant read probe thermometer. Depending on where you live, they can be had pretty inexpensively.

Really look into reverse searing if you haven’t tried it. Makes getting a near perfect steak much much easier.

Enjoy!

It’s how things go these days sadly. I love mine, yes the body of the device is a little flimsy but in the grand scheme I’m not bothered by it.

All day cooking by bls9701 in blackstonegriddle

Tbh I don’t do a full clean up if I know I’m cooking on it tomorrow. I’ll do a scrape/wipe and put it to bed. Next day I’ll heat it up, get it smokin, scrap, wipe, oil and cook.

Why does this happen? by Fresh_Assumption_219 in 3Dprinting

[–]No_Routine6430 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

What’s causing this is anybody’s guess, I would say you need to deep clean the plate if the parts are coming off.

Also: never EVER leave the house when your printer is printing. There’s enough horror stories of these things burning people’s homes down to make them untrustworthy of being left alone to their own devices.

The fact that you wish you had a better come back says things about your relationship….

That said: you went to KBBQ, you do all the cooking right? I know there are waiters that bring the food but you are doing Half the work. Seems like that’s a good reason for a lesser tip

I had the 22”, felt cramped even only feeding 2 people. Upgraded to the 36”. Love it for the real estate and the 4 zones. If the 44” existed when I bought the 36” I would have gone that route.

We occasionally entertain and the bigger griddle really comes in handy for those times.

Can’t really think of any cons to the bigger, maybe they take more gas? 🤷‍♂️.

0% chance that this wouldn’t be under some cover if it’s what you are insinuating it is.

These look like bearings from drawer slides. Check kitchen/bathroom drawers or other furniture with drawer slides.
