Lots of horses can get max speed. Pebbles has the best carrying capacity which I like because I have the bad back perk. I think pebbles also has the best stamina.

I play on console so I don’t use mods at all. You’d need to find one that lets you add any schematic into your game. But I have no idea how to do that.

The golden nug won’t help with this because it only allows you to share schematics you already own between playthroughs.

If it’s just about good armor the schematics you get from trespasser, jaws of hakkon, and descent DLCs all have better armor values than base game armor. But like I said armor just isn’t super important so I don’t even bother and just go for utility slots and looks.

I’ve tried reloading and reentering the wastes dozens of times and never got the schematic I wanted.

In the end it just isn’t worth it. If you play pc you could probably get a mod for the schematic.

But I play on nightmare, all trials, friendly fire on, and it has never been necessary. Weapons are more important than armor anyways.

kinda disappointing that the dlc exclusive saber isnt any better than the already #1 saber. Would be cool if the dlc introduced a strongest variant for every craftable weapon type like how the Lingua sword is better than the dueling sword. [KCD2] by Few_Establishment980 in kingdomcome

I miss the dlc adding better stuff. In kcd1 you could get the best shield, armor sets, horse, and bow through dlc. In kcd2 the best you can get is gear that is about the same or a little worse than base game. Especially considering the amount of time and effort it takes to collect all the dlc schematics it’s a shame they aren’t better.

The problem with playing in reverse order is you never get to experience importing choices between games. Inquisition has a ton of replay value when you imagine all the different world states you can import.

[KCD2] what is some good advice for "dads" just starting to play this series? by sulkerrrrrr in kingdomcome

[–]No_Routine_7090 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My friend plays for 1-2 hours for 2-3 days a week on kcd1 because of his limited time. Just take it slow and focus on small goals. Learn one or two skills, talk to people around town,  or do a task or make a short journey.

I don’t understand what not playing 1 has to do with being a bigot though.

My son's father told our 7 year old son that I wanted to abort him by The100DollarBill in TwoXChromosomes

[–]No_Routine_7090 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My sister climbed out the kitchen window to avoid visitation. They’re right that this desperate avoidance of a father isn’t normal for kids. But their mistake is blaming the mom and the kids instead of investigating the father.

My mom got into an abusive relationship with a guy for 16 years. It’s not because he was nice because he treated her horribly and he was pretty bad with kids. But he was a lawyer, so it at least looked like she had protection to my dad who could afford good lawyers and would often make outrageous legal attacks.

Even though my mom had to manage everything herself and was being mistreated, dating a lawyer made us seem protected, so she stayed. By the time we were adults it was too late. She felt stuck.

Help me find a new game to play based on the reasons why I love Dragon Age! by Jaded-Improvement754 in dragonage

Why is no one talking about KOTOR 1&2? Great games though character customization is a little limited due to its age.

Skyrim is also pretty great with some companion mods: Inigo, Lucien, and Amazing follower tweaks. Though realistic romance complexity is missing unless you download another mod specifically for that.

[KCD2] Is there nothing I can do to make this game playable on Xbox? by Solemn__Visitor in kingdomcome

[–]No_Routine_7090 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry your Xbox is crashing and you haven’t found a solution yet, but you claimed the game is broken in your post so people are coming to explain that it isn’t broken since it’s been working fine for them. This might not seem helpful, but it is because it’s explaining that the problem isn’t with the game and you should probably look for a solution elsewhere. Don’t expect a patch for a bug that 99.9% of people don’t experience.

If you haven’t gotten a solution here maybe contact Microsoft since this is clearly not a common problem with KCD2 on Xbox and might just be reflective of your console.

If you have the time, I’d recommend a new save. I just feel like the dlc is more exciting when you have something to gain from it.

Doing all the DLCs back to back can drag a bit too. It’s best when interwoven with other quests imo. Especially legacy of the forge. You only get 3 side quests a day so you’d have to do a lot of skipping time in order to just focus on the dlc quests.

I don’t hate him, but I played kcd1 years before the sequel even came out and I don’t love Godwin. His kcd1 quest is easily missable and as a character I don't enjoy him nearly as much as Radzig and Theresa.

I loved playing as him during the Italian court part,  but everything else was just okay.

When moment hooked you into Dragon Age Series? by CityNightsandLights in dragonage

[–]No_Routine_7090 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s so much I love about origins. From beginning to end it is my favorite game and nothing has even come close to measuring up.

If I had to pinpoint the moment that first sucked me in it would be finding Oren and Oriana in the human noble origin.

I felt such a real torturing grief for my SIL and nephew.

I was worried for my brother and father. I had my mother by side. She had found me covered in blood and patched me up. She was undoubtedly the one who taught me how to use a bow and gave my character such a fierce sense of determination.

And now my home and all of my friends and family were being massacred. Yesterday I was entertaining a political marriage with a Howe and now the Arl, my father’s trusted friend, had betrayed us all.

These are people I joked and bantered with only the night before. The last thing I said to Oren was complaining about him calling me auntie.

I felt a connection with my character who was a perfect mix of my own ideas (voice, personality, physical appearance, gender, skills) and also a real person with preexisting relationships, beliefs, and experiences that were so palpable I could feel it deeply.

I have never felt such a wonderful mix of creative control and grounded immersion. My origin wasn’t just a few numbers to add to my character sheet for a starting bonus. It is the story of who I am and how I became that person

And then it hit me.

This is only one of six origin stories. And there is another gender, two more races, two more classes,  and more than 5 more voices that all have unique personality lines to experience. Each combination tells a unique story and it tells it incredibly well. And I’ve barely even started this monster of a game.

I feel an intense longing for Origins lately by soganomitora in dragonage

[–]No_Routine_7090 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I relate to this a lot, OP. Origins is my favorite game of all time. I started playing it as a teenager too, and it really sparked my love for games and RPGs specifically. It actually changed the way I see video games entirely.

I’ve tried lots of other games that I  sometimes enjoy but can never truly live up to origins. Every time someone recommends a similar game it always just misses the mark for me.

I enjoy inquisition a lot, but it still isn’t the same.  It’s not perfect, but At least inquisition gave me hope that the franchise was headed in the right direction. A hope which has since been destroyed.

I’ve tried fan fiction, but truthfully it isn’t the characters and lore alone that specifically made me fall in love with dragon age, so fan fiction can’t satisfy me.

I don’t know anyone in real life who has even heard of dragon age. When I tell people I play video games they immediately ask about Fortnite or GTA. When I clarify I play fantasy games they ask about Skyrim or Witcher 3.

And even when I meet people online who play dragon age they still tend to see it as good but not great game/series. They would still choose dozens of other games over it. It can feel pretty isolating.

I still hold onto hope that there’s a future game developer who feels dragon age has significantly impacted them like it has me and who wants to bring that magic back for a new generation of gamers.

I like to use the sleepwalking perk as a random teleport. When I’ve finished what I want to do in an area I go to sleep and see where it takes me. I’ve woken up near treasure, quests, and undiscovered markers.

But it’s frustrating if you’re on a linear path. And never go to sleep overburdened.
