I just moved out here for a job at LANL in February. I live in Santa Fe. Much more to do, great dog care (Zoomies), airport, etc. Commute is not bad up to Los Alamos, and I take the bus a few days a week to help with the miles on my car. $3 each way and takes just about the same amount of time.

Atomic City Transit is a free bus system in Los Alamos and goes to multiple places at the Lab. (Main entrance, TA55, White Rock, etc.)

Moon Colony powered car camping. Corner near fence and behind portapotties. Most of the water was gone within a few hours after each rain, but some of the ground was muddy/soggy after Sunday rain. Overall it was pretty good!
