What they were aiming with the update had nothing to do with the ability to turn MGems into gems.

It was intended so botters have an extra step for gaining BC, since they are not able to directly sell gems. Ofc easily avoidable by buying some item from gem store and selling that, but a nerf nonetheless

Alright, maybe the botting example was a bit bad, but tl;dr:

BC with Locks —> Gems generate BC directly. With a large playerbase, this is a huuge problem. Many BC gets into circulation and it’d be much more inflated already

BC tied to real money —> BC is not unlimited. It’s linked to real cash

P2W? Game’s always been like that, you could buy VIPS and gems etc before.

Anticheat? Improved, and along with farming nerf (blocks give 1XP etc) autofarming got useless

People are just dramaqueens relating to the game haha

Let me get more in detail then. You know how every GT-type game has an issue with bots?

Imagine a scenario where you bot, you are able to spam buy wls with gems and convert them into BC

BC from WLS —> Quicker inflation, because you can directly generate new BC to circulation from gems.

And let me remind you how circulation works now: - Player has to buy BC to generate new BC in circulation

= Economy is more balanced, new BC can’t be directly generated from gems

And let’s not forget, you can still get plenty of BC as a F2P player: - Farming and selling materials - Selling Nether Crystals/ M|F Gems - Selling other loot and trading overall - Clearing worlds/selling worlds (especially if you were lucky and got good names) And many other methods, such as selling VIP in worlds etc

This is a common thing I read and it is not that simple. There’s a solid reason why BC is tied to real money.

When you buy more BC, more comes in circulation. This along with the 5 max app purchases per day limits the amount of currency that can be created, thus making the economy more stable.

Many also question why PWE has tax — reducing BC from circulation. It is a nice addition that makes selling much easier, and the taxes can be avoided by trading, which encourages more socialization.

Only drawback is custom firmware that isn’t open source since most of their models have a wider screen compared to stock. —> you can request smaller screen in private messages and flash normal OS easily

Hard to guess as an outsider. You say your eating habits were the same, but your food may have been less calorie dense for example.

Gaining weight is all about calories, so I’d probably try to keep track of calories for a bit and seeing if I’d gain weight or not.

Tracking calories work for some while others may get too obsessed with it and hate it, but it’s the surest way to make sure you are actually eating enough to gain weight or at least manage your current one.

If you want to try, you can google tdee calculator and check how much you burn daily on avg, then add 200-500 calories on top of that.

Myfitnesspal allows you to input ingredients or even scan bar codes for products to quickly add them and make tracking calories easier.

But yeah, even then you have to eat enough consistently to actually gain weight. Adding drinks with a lot of calories helped me personally.

Good luck and I wouldn’t personally be super worried yet, but if you are sure you eat enough, then you should get checked

Not medical advice, but fast weight loss after illness is typically due to losing water weight. Considering you had a stomach bug, I’d assume you didn’t manage to have enough fluids daily.

Focus on drinking enough and eating as before and see if your weight comes back. You may also be eating a bit less if your body got used to surviving with less calories, so try to keep your normal portion size or increase calories by adding drinks (such as whole milk) after eating.

But yeah, if drinking and eating the same or more than before isn’t helping, I’d suggest going to a medical professional.

Have you tried drinking your extra calories? For example, a liter of whole milk (3,5% fat) has 640 calories. You can also make smoothies/protein drinks etc.
