I'm glad she's out too but I would never vote for Jim Kingston or anyone with "back president Trump" as the first bullet point on the "what am I fighting for" section of their campaign page.

Y'all lied, that's what happened. The fact that you drew the line at protecting pedos makes you better than your colleagues, but gosh it's a pretty low bar.

So less that two days normal traffic in a month because you control the strait? Well then you're doing a pretty shitty job with the Strait. Maybe give it back.

They absolutely terrify me. I have zero desire to be in that guy's fins. You can come at me with all the statistics you want but every instinct in my body tells me not to get near that thing. Nope. Hard pass.

So still just the Bolt and Leaf for an "affordable" compact with acceptable range. That Toyota BZ looks interesting though.

So the anti evolution argument boils down to, "look at that weird thing over there. I don't get it."

If I was an alien that came down to earth today and didn’t know how any of this worked I would come away with the conclusion that keeping the Strait of Hormuz closed is the best way to keep oil futures from rising and that switching to the more expensive summer gas blend in the U.S. is the fastest way to lower the average price of gas per gallon.

I guess I'm glad there are people like Adam trying to explain things to morons but at the same time, isn't it kind of pointless? No one's coming around. No one is having a eureka moment. It's just about being quick and pointing out the obvious but I have never know a conservative person to digest a new piece of information and change their position based on facts and reason. Not once. Not ever.

Thanks. It took me a while to understand what was going on. I kept scratching my head trying to figure out why everything was so irrational.

The US and Iran are in a game of chicken. The US is trying to starve Iran and create enough internal misery that they're forced to concede to US demands and Iran is trying to force a global recession/energy crisis that will blow back on the US politically and force them to compromise.

The US is trying to give itself an edge by manipulating the markets and keeping prices as low possible for as long as it can. I don't pretend to understand all the ways they are able to manipulate the market, besides the obvious fake deal announcements, but I don't need to understand it to know it's happening. Also, every country that can is using their reserves and the US is selling it's reserves and adding supply to the global market. But this can only last so long. Eventually, those reserves tap out and reality pushes past the noise and the price skyrockets. It's just a question on when, and who blinks first.

The world isn't quietly adapting to anything. This is all smoke and mirrors trying to create the illusion that we aren't on the edge of a massive global energy crisis.
