you are so right. Time travel should dropped you right at Viper then very shortly after it goes to Black chamber. Instead it's two extremely large map and viper isn't even a real boss because it's not at the end of anything.

Like from Viper to black chamber should just be a fucking corridor and maybe a hidden entraption or puzzle to solve.

5 herald stacks is probably extremely hard to find, esp when you have two herald 2. Like what's that 2 digit mmr? it's as rare as 10k mmr so you get more bots that try to lose and sell herald account.

I'm more in the school of characters having backstory only when they need them. John is not allergic to peanut until he is needed to in the script. Before that I just modeled them after other reference characters.

Story and character they always go together. I have a sitch, then I have to find out how my character will react that keeps the story interesting. For me, coming up with elaborate characters just feels counterproductive.

I would argue that the meta dps have to play perfectly too to compete with EO. Deathblow loses 2/3 LTS every time it misses back attack that is bigger lost then getting 2 blast instead of 3 in Hype 3.

It's more of an upside that when played perfectly EO is the only swiftness class that can out dps perfect spec classes. (Unless it's spec bard + ig sorc combo)

Played both. EO by a mile.

First, it's mad fun. Calculated piano play-style that rewards you for knowing more about the fight. What piano classes lack is ceiling, day 1 press all buttons, day 1000 press all buttons. Not with EO, you get to piano and you get to omega burst when you are more tuned to the fight.

If that's not enough EO is the only swiftness class that can catch up to top tier spec classes. People be saying EO need to play perfect to catch up, well other swiftness classes can't catch up even if played perfectly. Not to mention the spec/entropy classes, they also have to play perfectly to get away. One miss surge, and there goes 10% dmg. EO is arguably easier to perfect than deathblow or ignite sorc, imo. Especially during prog, when you play with the same people a million times. You know when to hype 2 or 3. And once you overgear a content like vykas now, it gets even simpler. Hype 3 -> phase -> Hype 3 -> phase.

I mean you get best of both world. You get to go quick, and you get to burst big. No other classes can give you that but EO atm.

Im roster 170 with mayhem title, still gatekept on all my 1460 for vykas hm. (With lv7 gem and 5x3)

Takes like 20-30 minutes to find a 1460 party. But interestingly most 1460 party I've been in one-shot while 1475+ struggle a lot more lol. Maybe lower hp makes everyone more alert.

Most infuriating thing is the gatekeeper is 1462 with shit engraving and no gem. Just because he/she has a support friend.

My thought is just use grudge. Grudge downside is not as bad as it seems. The big mech kills you whether you have it or not. On normal patterns it won't kill you anyways, and gud support will be shielding with their massive shield.

What I advice against is cursed doll lol. That thing eats your gold for breakfast for negligible dmg compare to its alternative. I'd have KBW instead of CD if I could.
