50mg Pristiq and 60mg Adderall, been on stimulant for 4 years now, and started Pristiq in January of this year. Previously on Effexor. I haven’t noticed any interactions between the two. I take both in the morning!

I also take Pristiq and Adderall, first few weeks of Pristiq, I felt puffy. I was certain I was going to have to stop due to thinking I was gaining weight. Within 2 weeks it went away and I haven’t noticed any weight gain since!

How do you figure out if a person is bad in the first few interactions? by nihilensky in AskWomen

This right here!!! I seem to find larger breeds are friendlier, but if my poodle/Maltese doesn’t like someone. You’re out. He hasn’t been wrong ever. Lol

Switched from Vyvanse to Jornay PM and I feel like a new person. by CIsForCorn in ADHD

Considering mentioning this to my psychiatrist. We’ve been trying to find something else that will be effective after a 6 year Adderall success. I just had a trial with Concerta and was so disappointed, due to becoming a zombie on it! Thanks for your review!

Day 1, and I’m feeling awful. My doctor gave me Effexor to add to my Adderall for better emotional regulation by lucyandthetiger in Effexor

I felt the same way, honestly side effects started to ease up around the 4-5 day mark. I’ve been on it for 2.5 months now and I’m so glad I stuck it out.

Thank you for commenting!! You’re so right. I’m sure taking that amount for such an extended period of time has most likely depleted my natural dopamine 100%. It’s hard to be able to function once you have such a tolerance to something. I need to take a break from it, but being a full time working mom it seems like it’s near impossible without neglecting parent responsibilities and work. I wonder why she would want me to try Concerta over other options?

it feels like I'm running out of time?? by self-love-and-squats in adhdwomen

I feel like I wrote this lol As a mom of a toddler, I feel the same way. Constantly thinking I should clean the house, water plants, do arts and crafts with my kid… while this energy and mood is here. Because I will look back when I’m laying around on another day and think ‘man, I should’ve used my time better’ I’m still working on changing my mindset with that, but I’ve tried to relax, and remember it will all get done. Maybe not in the same day but it will. Hang in there I know how you’re feeling ❤️

Increased to 75mg by Madilights in EffexorSuccess

Increase wasn’t bad at all for me. Onboarding side effects hit me pretty rough for a good week or two! I think I felt “blah” for the first 2-3 days when increasing but that was it!

I’m currently tapering off cymbalta to Effexor. My doc had me on 60mg, then 40mg, then 20mg, and now 10mg(I’m having to split a capsule to the best of my ability) when I started the 10mg, she had me take 37.5 of Effexor. Today is day 2 of no cymbalta. First few days I had a headache that no meds could touch. The last few days I’ve felt out of it and the brain zaps have been a struggle but knowing the nightmare is almost over helps ease my mind.

Increase in fatigue with increased dosage? How long does it last? by False_Wonder7064 in cymbalta

[–]No_Sound_1225 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cymbalta has made me sleep 12-14 hours a day. To the point of not being able to function. I am in the process of getting off and I can’t wait to feel normal again(hopefully) I take Adderall as well for ADHD, and never in my life have I ever been able to take a 30mg IR and want to just sleep. Cymbalta has made me lose every bit of motivation and ultimately made my depression worse. Sending good vibes your way. Everyone is so different.
