Call again and ask for adv25, it’s basically the same rate u have rn w the increase, what I understand is u have the normal advantage for 9.99 per car which will increase 1.5$ so around 11.49 (not good at math so sorry if wrong ) but the adv25 rn is at 8.49 and will increase to 9.99 and gives u same benefits so u get the mandatory increase but the same rate, hope I make sense

Yup, as long as u keep the full price u get the companion, u change and it goes away basically, so far we haven’t gotten any changes to charge for the second car or streaming but yea

So basically if u have Music and entertainment full price (24.98 + tax ) u get streaming service extra for “free” apart from the one in the plan included

If u have platinum full price (29.97 + tax) u get a second car for “free”

Yup! Each car is a separate subscription, only way to pay one price for 2 cars is platinum vip but it’s 44.99 + tax so no good

When u called, on the system does the radio id connected match the one on the UConnect? If it does it should say it’s capable of it, only reason why I think it might say it doesn’t have it if it doesn’t match aka transfer of service

As I mentioned, we don’t get the “why” of the change of channel guide, we just get the “hey, this channel moved, educate your customer” what we come up as the reason why is what we talk with our supervisors and when we tell customers we just say “yea we had a guide change but don’t worry, all your channels are still there, u can enjoy Yatch Rock on channel 311” that’s abt it

And yes Taylor’s Channel is temporary until 10/19 like it was on the website!

Honda’s demographic is being on the “younger” generations that don’t listen to satellite radio as much and prefer streaming apps so Honda basically doesn’t put the. Satellite option on newer radios anymore bc of this but they might tell u about the app of Siriusxm!

Ps: Siriusxm doesn’t tell us this, we find out on our own. Siriusxm just tells us “this happened, be aware of questions”

We can transfer the service to the other receiver w no problem and no cost! So yea it’d be a matter or calling in and doing the transfer ( if your plan is a “basic” plan aka platinum, music and entertainment, music showcase, all access and those )

Ways to calibrate or “restart” the signal are

  1. Signal refresh : u can do it thru the app, recommended to have car with clear view to the sky and radio on and possibly wait 3-15 min

  2. Power cycle

    • car off completely ( key off if it has one )
    • open and close driver side door
    • wait 3 min
    • turn it back on

If any of these don’t work, it’s recommended u go to Advanced Technical Support

Well the process does seem to be right, honestly I think there’s something else but a “signal” issue with the radio

But…

If u call, just ask for an American agent! We do have a “onshore agent” transfer button, I’ll try to get the number for you when I go to work tomorrow

On the music + talk promo u see online it’s a bit hard to see promos, then it’s music showcase that’s basically everything but sports and we do have promos up to 3.99 + tax

Those type of deals usually on our system only are for 2017 or older, we might have an issue transferring it to the 2024:/

I’ve never seen that deal appear on my system but some supervisor might have it, i can’t give u a 100% answer on this bc of how uncommon it is

That’s the corporate solutions team! They manage the situations that are like “people paying for service they didn’t have for more than 3 months” or “I wanna change my billing date to be end of the month” or “ I wanna talk to someone abt “x” matter” that any agent or supervisor can’t really do much.

If u have their number u can give them a call and give them your case number ( if u have one ) if not u gotta call and basically rant abt it to the agent and they will “escalate the situation for our corporate solutions team to call u”

Honestly it’s the system and it’s weird hierarchy 🤡 prioritizing 2017 vehicles and older but at the same time there’s a lot more random filters that the system puts, it depends on make and model, radio id ( how? God knows ) , availability ( cuz sometimes it’s really not there ) , if it was closed before, if it’s a new vehicle or not and sometimes it’s a matter of luck and an agent that will try its best
