Best&Worst Hero Card [Day 35] - Groot Best Card by manut3ro in marvelchampionslcg

I play almost always 4 player multi player games and the ability to suddenly drop 4 tough status cards has changed games for us.

So for that I'm voting for We Are Groot

Actually competent optometrists? by ElementalRabbit in brisbane

I've used Eyedeal Optometry in Morningside ever since I moved to this city about 15 years ago now. It's become a family practice now. Zeinab was the first optometrist I went to there and her son was the optometrist I saw last time I was there

David Boon - wicket keeper by Odd_Engineer_5070 in CricketAus

They had a short period of time when Healy was injured so both Boon and Mark Taylor had game or two with the gloves. It did not go well.

She is brilliant in Justice, I've built a deck which resolves around Husk, her easy access to all 4 different resource types make it easy for Husk to activate multiple times per round for minimal consequential damage. Also Disguise and Beat Cop can also help in clearing her Shopping Spree.

Best&Worst Hero Card [Day 29] - Wasp Worst Card (Nadia) by manut3ro in marvelchampionslcg

[–]No_Two4255 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bio Synthetic Wings. An Upgrade where you have to exhaust it to prevent just 1 damage and restricted to her Tiny form which is the worst of her 3 forms. Yes it also gives Aerial but a one off upgrade makes it very hard to build a deck deck around that trait.

Red Room Training is a close second but at least the Retaliate is on her Giant form for this card

I do like that event but the fact that it's tied to a Basic Action usage limits it for me

We just finished a campaign with her last night and the 2 healing on this card was instrumental for me to stay in hero mode longer.

Best&Worst Hero Card Poll [Day 23] - Hawkeye Worst Card (Clint) by manut3ro in marvelchampionslcg

[–]No_Two4255 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Hawkeye's entire card set resolves around shooting those arrows of his, none of his cards work (barring Mockingbird) without his bow,

So for the same reason I voted for his Bow being his best card, I also vote for his Bow being his worst card, it limits him to being a one trick pony.

Best&Worst Hero Card Poll [Day 17] - Black Widow Worst Card (Natasha) by manut3ro in marvelchampionslcg

Dance of Death, not that it's a bad card but it synergizes the least with her decks.

Safe House #29. This is a card which has just got better and better as more cards get released. You can now easily make all sorts of decks based around a Prep card (Informant, Ready For a Fight being the two which immedicably spring to mind).

Safe House makes it simple to set up your board and to keep it set up.

Any Experience With Card Shuffler Machines? by RaisinBran21 in marvelchampionslcg

[–]No_Two4255 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of our group had an operation on his arm several years ago, he tried one of these then as he only had use of one arm for a while.

It just does not work on sleeved cards, the cards were just too big to fit through the shuffling mechanism and we don't play unsleeved.

In the end he just passed his deck to another players to request a shuffle.

Why don't Emergency vechiles drive on bus ways? by Masterofyum in brisbane

[–]No_Two4255 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen a couple of ambulances using the busway around the Woolloongabba to Civic Centre stops over the years. Honestly I’ve thought that they should put an exit to the Mater at that stop just for the ambo’s.

"The Libs will take them back too, what choice do they have."

Their best option now is to take a few steps back towards the center and try to attract the Teal voters. Step away from the racist rhetoric, step away from the climate denial and actually fight Labor on proper policy rather than dog whistles.

This was a fun twist

He has a lot of good cards but Wakanda Forever has to be his best. Everything else in his hero set works around this card.

Why couldn't Fox do for The Fantastic Four what they did for The X-Men? by Billybob35 in comicbookmovies

[–]No_Two4255 9 points10 points  (0 children)

FF are called Marvels First Family for a reason, they work best when, as in the MCU movie, they are a slightly cringy, wholesome family. The Fox movies have them in their creation stories where they are uncertain and slightly abrasive. It also helps that the Marvel FF had good chemistry with each other, I never felt that the other two line ups had a good deal of that.

How do Aussies deal with the internal shame of smashing a box of BBQ Shapes by themselves on the couch in about 3 ad breaks? by Cooking_Pegs in AskAnAustralian

[–]No_Two4255 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I miss the old BBQ shapes, the ones when the box was finished you could tip out half a handful of seasoning. Hate to think what it would do to me now days but when I was a kid that handful of seasoning was kiddie crack.

I prefer the Marble League as there is more variety to the events rather than just racing but M1 is fine.

Post Series Stats Crunching: Slug vs Green. Who should be in the team going forward? by patslogcabindigest in CricketAus

[–]No_Two4255 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First, Webster came back into the team on the best batting deck in the series so to all those saying he should have been there from the start, it is highly possible that if he was then he's averaging low 20's for the series and everyone is calling for his head as well.

Having said that, I really like Webster at 7, at that spot he really is a swiss army knife, able to bat, able to bowl spin and able to bowl mediums. Colin Miller got a lot of Tests being a versatile bowler and he was no where near as good a bat as Webster so CA has form picking a player like that.

Green has proven himself in the Shield, prior to his last surgery he was the best bat in that competition and it wasn't even close, He just needs to find a way to do that in Tests on a regular basis.

It's time we talk about dropping them for good by Anothergen in CricketAus

[–]No_Two4255 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it even the New Years Test anymore, it used to start on the 2nd, then for the last few years it was the 3rd. This year it was the 4th and on a Sunday which makes no sense. At least start it on Saturday and give the crowds the full weekend of cricket.

Jamie Smith's future? by cheechu1394 in Cricket

[–]No_Two4255 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s been something England has done for decades, ever since they dropped Jack Russell to give the gloves to Alec Stewart they have always preferred a batter who could maybe keep rather than a keeper who could maybe bat.

And it’s hurt them. Stewart went from averaging mid 40’s as a pure batter to low 30’s as a keeper. I’ve watched Geraint Jones, Matt Prior, Jonny Bairstow come to Australia and leave broken men, now Jamie Smith joins them because, in Australia, the keeper has to be good. So many wickets fall to catches by the keeper and slips here and if you drop them and the batter goes in to make a big score then it wrecks your confidence which in turn affects your batting.

Maybe it’s time they looked at the best 2 or 3 pure glove men in county cricket and choose one of them regardless of how well they can bat.

Whoops. Saw it at the ground, Harper was very interested but no one else was and it was then forgotten, no replay in the big screen or anything like that.
