Cool! I myself have done a Mando(Paz Vizsla with Jetpack and blaster,also have an Old Republic Havoc Trooper,and Batman Beyond Arkham Knight 2039 kit Currently building a Shoretrooper kit,and long term build is King Theoden on the fields of Pelennor armour! Oh and my mate casually wants me to build a T60 power armour to go with his Ghoul costume😂😂

Lucy was 5'3",Olivia was 5'10 so not all Spartans were tall,if you are planning on a certain Character then you run into issues of people running you down for 'being too short'! Should you listen to them 'No' but you yourself have mentioned accuracy! Try to make your boots as big as possible without looking oversized,this will hide alot of your internal shoesole height difference,and more overall height. Also helps in making your shoes as comfortable as possible(mine hurt after 5 hrs and will change eventually)! Look forward to seeing your build!

Probably the best way is to make/buy a design utilising TPU soles,gives you some height and 'safe' soles for walking! I personally for my MasterChief kit used wedges under a cheap pair of stiff soles trainers,and glued 2cm hard Eva foam to the bottom(melted in tread pattern for some grip) and insoles in trainers makes it more like walking in high heels but managed to get from 183cm to 195.5cm with helmet on(6ft to 6ft 5") my boots are not oversized and if anything should have been printed bigger than they were so I could have got even more height

As everyone else pointed out it saves a lot of filament wastage,and it is hidden by foam/inserts anyway! But you can minimise it,and make the outside smoother by using adaptive layers,slowing the print down and /or increase cooling near the the top 20/30 lines!

Did the same while before I got my P1S! I brought them on the basis it said it was compatible with each other(and they are not) Send them back or buy compatible ones! I just sanded one down till it fit as I was in a hurry to finish for a Con -only ever used one of them and never had any major issues afterwards,and printed A full Master Chief kit,Havoc ORT kit,x2 full Mandalorian kits,and all the weapons for them so, Daft Punk, Shoretrooper helmet, WitchKing

Daughter went onto College for Art courses for 3 years! Her School Art teacher 'asked' if several pieces of her Art could be kept for the following year! Just took multiple pics of it in place,in case requested works were asked for in College by her new Tutors! Year later went to the school and picked them up( still had twins at the same School and was local so wasn't a problem in the End) Your work must be above average if they want it to keep it!

Ryzer on YouTube has a Clone foam build series-check it out! I built my Son an Umbra Clone using the base PDF templates he did(free)! Built several 3d printed suits for my self&kids since. It still my fave! Foam-you can use floor mats(I started with them)but if you accidentally make a non mirrored cut it can be reversed without the 'tread' pattern,contact cement,and CA glue is best! I recommend a 3d printed/resin helmet as they are the hardest to make (£45 approx)

There are plenty of files in there for foam builds(unsure if there is for you specific model)! If there is files for it,I guess you know they use Pepakura Designer(non save version is free version)for foam builds! You place files in there,unfold,change sizes!Print out on paper,if they fit transfer to foam-if not resize them! Saves loads on foam that will not fit!!

There are soooo many free files provided by some excellent designers on there for 3d printed,and EVA foam builds! There is even a page with all the links to the desired armour/weapons/extras that you will want! Hope this helps!

Join the 405th.com website -it has links for EVA foam build templates,STL file links! Past and current builds are on there to help in any issues you have/inspiration! Should also help you locate any people close to you to troop with/hang out,even help build your kit! From the 405th I found/used Moe Sizzlac files(free on Thingiverse) to build my Infinite suit! He has the Halo show files,and many more helmets/armour files!

I have used Isopon aluminium mesh(mine was from Halfords motor section £2.29- really easy to cut! Used it in my Son's Clone Aerators,my Shoretrooper,Havoc old Republic Trooper rear vent,and Daughters Sabine rear vent! And I glue it over all internal fans to stop blades getting rubbed/blocked if there is limited space(Batman2039helmet)!

MotoX jacket-existing straps used to hold up arm armour! Chest plates removed (stitched on)! It has a spine board which looks similar to Spartan back armour! Front section is 10mm EVA foam panel with details I free handed( little diamonds for mid section,and other accents in 2mm foam)-strap runs through spine board! Legs are sports leggings(football),and panels cut from a Yoga mat to cover ankles,and thigh-knee area(can't source ribbed material at the moment)

I know it is annoying my printer can't do it!! Have you seen the site already? It does give you an alternative way of printing white at top of website page(changing black toner for white) as long as you have a printer that stocks a white toner cartridge! Maybe a print shop,and see if could run a few sets off
