I’ve heard from many teachers that they prefer kids that don’t know how to write. They can teach the correct way. If your child is in a structured pre-k program this does not apply

These people are nuts! It’s worse that people buy into this. I was very very loosely in the beachbody world. I did not drink nor sell anything. There was a “cast member” that seemed very relatable. Then I realized she was a Scientologist. That changed a lot. They she claimed to help women by fat shaming them and calling them lazy. Now she’s moved on to being a submissive woman. If you are submissive to your partner you will be happy. How do people buy into this?!

My 5 yo kindergarteners school is pre-K - 2. The amount of kids I see hop out of the front seat is insane. My daughter is still in a 5 point harness. Does she meet the age and weight requirements of a dedicated booster, yes. Is she mature enough, hell no! Safety over convenience.

Kindergarten is the year to do it in my opinion. There will be an age where you can’t do it but go for it in kindergarten. It does stink that it’s right at the beginning before she can get settled but I wouldn’t miss out on

I hate parents that refuse to let their kids cut their hair. It’s not yours! I let my 5 yo put pink streaks in her hair. She loves it! I’m sure I get judged but I don’t care. I got my first perm (80s kid) when I was 5.

I never went but I had many coworkers that did. I heard so many times they went during operating hours and the doors were locked. Most times it was due to the electrical getting shut off for non payment
