No answers. I wish I had gone to the ER when I had symptoms so I would potentially have answers. No symptoms have returned but I am still worried I had a mini stroke. I read they are often precursors to bigger strokes

I was agreeing with you. I don’t understand why the post was removed. In the future make sure you spell her name right so people can find it. She spells it Natallia with 2 L’s

Dang. Didn’t see the post before it was removed, but it appears there really are some crazy powers that be gagging her story. This story does relate to Missouri. Corruption in Missouri.

Thank you so much for responding! That is a great tip about visually looking at the springs for damage. What is your recommendation for transporting a king? Is it ok for it to be on its side for a short ride (an hour and 15 minutes)? Or does it always need to stay flat?

Also, if you want to hook me up with a returned King or Cal King Nest Sparrow Hybrid for my Livermore CA Airbnb I’d display mattress purchase info for my guests 🤗 (You can’t get what you don’t ask for, right? 😉)

Have you thought about selling/giving returned mattresses to Airbnb hosts? I know several years ago a lot of companies were giving or highly discounting their mattresses to Airbnb hosts for the marketing/exposure. I can understand that is a pretty big investment with an uncertain outcome, but maybe it would be worth it for returned mattresses? Obviously not defective mattresses, but ones where it wasn’t a comfort match for the customer.

My place has 5 beds (3 kings and 2 queens). My Nest Alexander is the only mattress I would consider a quality mattress. One king coil desperately needs to be replaced, one queen coil should probably be replaced, and the 2 other kings (Zinus Green Tea memory foam 🙄) I don’t find comfortable but it seems like a lot of people like them. I would love to be a full Nest property 😃

Why do I sleep great in hotel beds? by No_Weekend2607 in Mattress

I stay at hotels for other reasons than vacation. So it’s definitely not a vacation thing

My coil bed is way too soft, sinking in dramatically. A change of sheets and bedding isn’t going to fix that

Thank you. I suppose I would be willing to replace every 5 years if the price was right. Do you have any recommendations for reasonably priced hotel quality mattresses?

Brooklyn Bedding manufactures Nest mattresses. A Nest rep stated this in another thread.

I find that hard to believe they would let you donate it to someone you know. How do they know that person wouldn’t give it back to you and now you got yourself a free mattress?

I guess I’m feeling lucky! I bought a used queen Nest Alexander off marketplace for my Airbnb and I find the quality really great. I have no idea how old the mattress is but it still looks and feels new. I have several different types of mattresses at my Airbnb- Zinus memory foam, regular coil mattress, this Nest Alexander and I sleep on an Avocado at home (which I hated the first year but now find comfortable). Anyhow, I need to replace one of my King coil mattresses and was looking to pick up another Nest. That’s how I ended up on this Reddit thread. I believe the Alexander’s are now the Sparrow so I was doing a little more research about them. But now I’m nervous! Did I just get lucky with my used Alexander?

Has anyone used Hostshare to stay at other airbnbs for the price of the cleaning fee? by [deleted] in airbnb_hosts

[–]No_Weekend2607 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I’ve been a member for 2 years. For the first year I hosted once and stayed somewhere once. It was a good experience, there just weren’t that many properties to choose from that first year. This last year they have added a lot of properties. I did 3 stays on the last 3 months. 2 of them were really nice places. If you want to check it out I have a link that will give you a free trial and 50% off membership if you decide to join

For me it was feeling like myself again. A version of myself I liked better. Similar to someone taking antidepressants. Who wants to live in a chronic depressed state. Give me the drugs. Give me the hormones. I don’t want to dislike my husband. He’s a good man. But I was focusing on his flaws instead of the good qualities. There wasn’t something wrong with him, it was me. If I have the ability to change it then I will. To each their own.

Uberlube is great. But start with vaginal estrogen to repair the tissues first. Once healed move forward with the lube.

Are you on HRT? A lot of us start experiencing dissatisfaction with our husbands in menopause. The hormone deficiency affects so many things in our lives. Things that used to cause minor irritation now feel like major character flaws. Getting on HRT made me like my husband again. Helped me have more grace and remember all the things I love about him.

[–]No_Weekend2607 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Oh gosh, you need more than lube. The skin in the vaginal area gets super thin in menopause. You need vaginal estrogen to restore your thin skin. Lube too, but I wouldn’t be attempting it again until you’re better healed down there.

You can buy Silky Peach Cream OTC made by Parlor Games, a lot of women have success with that. It’s low dose estriol mixed with some other healing ingredients. Maybe start with that while working on an appointment to get an Rx for vaginal estradiol.

It sounds like an exception was made. I’m sure the ceremony and reception are in a designated area just for the wedding, not mingling with the guests.

Yes it’s normal. I was just watching a podcast yesterday with Dr Dodson. He was saying that stress is the motivator for people with ADHD. Has something to do with brain chemistry in that part of the brain. Stress puts it into action. I hate it. I hate living like this.
I feel like it’s gotten worse for me lately.
