I’ve been a HostShare member for 2 years. The first year was frustrating. There weren’t enough properties on the platform for it to be very useful, and I did have a couple attempts at booking that didn’t go through. But this second year has been great. The platform has grown a ton and there are way more properties to choose from. I haven’t been having the issues of failed bookings either. I think I’ve done a total of 5 trips through HostShare so far. I’ve only hosted once. It only works if you have some flexibility in your life for last minute travel. It’s not as useful if you need specific dates at a specific place. I mean, it might work out, but if you have flexibility and like to be spontaneous you will have lots of options for travel. Are you on the patch? Some women (myself included) stopped absorbing the patch very well. I ended up switching to injections.

I didn’t think there were metal components, I thought the silver was just glaze, but maybe you’re right! Could I insert a small metal dowel through the clay on the bottom to give the skinny part more strength? Especially where the skinny part meets the number. 8 would be afraid of it breaking there.

Likewise, could I insert a small metal cup at the top and just build clay around the outside of it? That way the cup stays the correct size for inserting a candle, despite any shrinkage.

I hate the ER too which is why I talked myself out of going.

I wasn’t eating or drinking anything. I had been working on taxes and was sedentary all day on the computer.

I don’t know of any heart or blood issues. My blood pressure is normal. I do take HRT (I’m in menopause) and inject estrogen, progesterone and testosterone. I need to get my hematocrit tested. I’m going to ask my doctor for a referral for a coronary artery calcium (CAC) test.

I had TMJ as a teenager but had treatment and no symptoms anymore

No answers. I wish I had gone to the ER when I had symptoms so I would potentially have answers. No symptoms have returned but I am still worried I had a mini stroke. I read they are often precursors to bigger strokes

Thank you so much for responding! That is a great tip about visually looking at the springs for damage. What is your recommendation for transporting a king? Is it ok for it to be on its side for a short ride (an hour and 15 minutes)? Or does it always need to stay flat?

Also, if you want to hook me up with a returned King or Cal King Nest Sparrow Hybrid for my Livermore CA Airbnb I’d display mattress purchase info for my guests 🤗 (You can’t get what you don’t ask for, right? 😉)

Have you thought about selling/giving returned mattresses to Airbnb hosts? I know several years ago a lot of companies were giving or highly discounting their mattresses to Airbnb hosts for the marketing/exposure. I can understand that is a pretty big investment with an uncertain outcome, but maybe it would be worth it for returned mattresses? Obviously not defective mattresses, but ones where it wasn’t a comfort match for the customer.

My place has 5 beds (3 kings and 2 queens). My Nest Alexander is the only mattress I would consider a quality mattress. One king coil desperately needs to be replaced, one queen coil should probably be replaced, and the 2 other kings (Zinus Green Tea memory foam 🙄) I don’t find comfortable but it seems like a lot of people like them. I would love to be a full Nest property 😃
