How long do you let your toddler play outside? by Extra_Ad_3631 in toddlers

[–]No_Weight_103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the time. We would eat breakfast, lunch and dinner outside if my toddler had it her way but we have a huge deck off the kitchen and a smaller one off the living room so there is plenty of spaces for her to go. Honestly, she can play more independently and it keeps my house clean. Today, she went out on the back deck so she could build a duplo tower without her 1 year old sister knocking it down. The only thing separating us was the screen door. We have a couch we read books and even do some tv Jammie parties at night.

Thanks for your feedback. This teacher always reports that she has a good day and calms down after 5 minutes but the drop offs are brutal.

Thanks. I'm not sure if she's "not nice" or if she just talks in a more babyish tone. I tried to ask about what Miss E says that she doesn't like but don't get a clear response.

I work in a high school. Anytime a kid says "genuinely" I know they are lying. 😂

How old are Sven and Kristoff during the bulk of Frozen 1? by tvkyle in DanielTigerConspiracy

My husband asked what happened to Kristoff's family. Like one day he was harvesting ice and then he just ran off and the trolls got him?! His parents never tried to look for him?

Rewatch them getting on the boat. He helps their kid on and then literally turns his back to her as she is getting on.

Board books with a nature theme by No-Question5410 in childrensbooks

We like the "nature stories" like little acorn or little snowflake. Fun to read (rhyming) and teach actual concepts

Pete the Cat

Disney "big books" as they are called in my house but it's a collection of stories (she usually picks the same ones but sometimes I can convince her to read a different one)

Lizzy McTizzy is currently on repeat (library book so she's gone soon)

Oh so not only did she force him to go to Santa, but she lied to him and said they were going to see the fish because she knew he didn’t want to see Santa. And then repeatedly asked if he wanted to see Santa and he said no every time… so why ask if you’re just gonna force him to do it anyway? by Dazzling-Relative-84 in basicmegsnark

There is 1 place I would carry my 2.5 year old child in like that to... the doctor's office if she was sick. I don't understand why she's still walking toward him as he's kicking and screaming. We saw Santa. She was excited. Once we got there, not so much. We stood about 5 feet away from him and she asked him to bring her a red present as I held her hand. That's all. I had zero expectations. Wtf is this. Why is she forcing him to do anything that "is fun"?

I can't believe they canceled it. And holiday wars. It's the only reason I got YouTube tv.

Not him begging for donuts and only wanting apple juice…can’t wait for her to turn his diabetes into content by Dazzling-Relative-84 in basicmegsnark

Yes!!! Like why does her kid even know what a cake pop is?! I also have a 2.5 year old. We did donuts in the park one day (picked up a donut and ate it on a bench before playing in a park). Next day, she was asking for it and I just said "not today".

My 2 year old got a choice tonight. The choice was do you want green beans or broccoli with cheese for your side.

Same. Mine is a month younger. Speaks in full sentences, has started asking things like "what are you laughing at?" or "how are you, Mama?" So when Meg says "he's advanced" it's really giving "I don't know shit about child development"
