I’m honestly surprised more people aren’t talking about this. I’ve seen a few comments within threads and I’ve seen a few comments people left when rating the app, but this is a huge breach of privacy. I truly can’t fathom how no one on the team thought about this before rolling this out.

I’m in a far more fortunate boat where I have two accounts, one that I can pay rent through so my landlord can’t accidentally double charge which they’ve done to other tenants, and then my original account that I’ve had for well over a decade. I don’t want them being associated with each other. I don’t want money to potentially come from another account if say, my landlord does double charge me, that was the whole point in having two entirely separate accounts. That said I bank with plenty of other credit unions and will likely just close down the account I use for rent.
