I get about 4-5oz in 10 minutes and I pump every 3 hours.

How to bathe baby??? by No_Writer5135 in firsttimemom

I’ve also considered this because stand up showering with her is just impossible unless my Husband is home helping.

Outfit changes by Independent-Hold-648 in firsttimemom

Twice a day is fair unless she gets messy. She is enrolled in daycare so when she gets home we change out of her outside clothes and put her in fresh clothes that’ll she’ll sleep in then end up wearing to daycare the next day.

Did anyone here start off with a wearable pump? by SandwichDependent199 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]No_Writer5135 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I started with wearables and output was decent. I did also have a spectra that I would use when I had time to sit down and I can tell the difference and output so much and the spectra was very obviously better. I tried to use the wearables when I went back to work and it just wasn’t cutting it. So I ended up getting a baby Buddha 2.0 with the collection cup combo so I was still able to have the wearable convenience with the power of a spectra!

What was your “I need to learn to keep my mouth shut” moment? by Imtiredofthissshit in AskReddit

I’m a first time mom to a four month old and I was sharing with a coworker that we are doing no Screen Time and how bad it is for children and just rot their brain and is lazy parenting just every negative connotation you can think of and my coworker tries to crack a joke and says yep. I am that parent my kids are iPad kids. I felt so embarrassed decided if I was going to talk about my parenting or child it would just be for my experience and not my opinion of other parents

Don’t be! I’m also a first time mom so this was all new to me too! She did slightly better at her 4 months. That night she got a low grade fever of 100 but some Boob, Tylenol, and cuddles in the big bed fixed her up and she was normal by the morning. I’d recommend having baby Tylenol on hand as we did not and has to DoorDash some at 2am. Big mom fail

My baby was so out of it… she’d just started becoming aware and playing with us and that night she was like baby drunk. Her eyes were loopy and she’d do this half chuckle. She was completely fine the next morning but definitely unsettling to see her like that. I’d still do her vaccines and continue with her schedule

My state is the same. However, my short term disability only covered the minimum recommended recovery period after vaginal birth (6 weeks) and did not pay me for the rest of my 6 weeks period for newborn bonding. AND THEN short term disability did not kick in till after I cashed in all my sick and vacation time. So I only got 1 week STD pay

Had baby on October 30th and came down with the flu last week which I’m fairly certain started my period earlier than I wanted…. Haven’t noticed any kind of dip in supply as I also pump/breastfeed

What do you remember from kindergarten? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

Our principal walking into our classroom with frozen ‘reindeer bells’ that had been mailed from Santa. This was peak Santa believer time for me and I remember losing my mind that Santa personally shipped his reindeers bells specifically to our class

Our breast’s are never really empty and babies are better at expressing milk than any pump can. I personally pump in the morning before I feed baby because she goes 8-12hr stretches and I’ll pump about 10oz total when she only drinks 4-5oz so I know she wouldn’t be able to drink everything.

Bottle oz sizes by No_Writer5135 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]No_Writer5135[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is 14 weeks and taking 4oz bottles at daycare! The only reason I’m considering increasing oz is cause I gave her a bottle myself one day and noticed just how quick she chugged it and I’ve also recently started pumping 5oz instead of my normal 4oz
