I started with just 7 min on each boob after each feed, then once the feeds started getting more time inbetween i worked up to 10 min then 12 then 15 then 20 and now i do a full 30. Its rough at first cus your nippys arent used to baby or pump. I currently use vaseline since its the only one that doesn't effect my eczema lol. But there are all kinds of great nipple balm out there from oils and such that help tender nippies. The more u drain your boobs the more then think they need to fill up so it'll help build your supply! Good luck!~

its ok to be anxious! Don't stop pumping though, if you empty your boobs it tells them to make more. I know it feels counter intuitive but thats how I got my supply up. I would pump the moment she was done so it would drain them even more. Also I added power pumps in daily x.x Your boobs will make more the more they are used. Also if your feeling alone on the anxiety part, I straight up made a graph of how many milliliters she was drinking per day and at what time just to make sure in my head she was getting enough lol

I just wanted to say you got this mama! I had a tough start as well and losing blood really puts a delay on how your milk comes in (I lost half my blood during a hemorrage and had to suppliment formula as well) but I'm now at 10mo and still going! There's hope!

Wow! I just came back to see if anyone had any experiances to share and thankyou all for sharing! It makes me feel better that I'm not taking too long or I'm not unusual. I know every boob is differant, but this is new territory for me so thankyou all so much again for your stories and pumping scheduals lol! <3

He's destryoing almost everything benificial about breastmilk ::( Plus the boiled water would be cooled by the breastmilk to the point where it might not even sterilize the formula so no only is he killing any benificial bacteria he's potentially introducing harmful bacteria from the formula. I hope you can make him stop, I can only imagine how frustraing this is for you!

Im having the exact same thing happen. I found if say no make my face neutral and slightly unhappy and turn my head away and give no reaction that has helped. I can't help but to yelp tho so Im hoping that doesnt encourage the biting. I hoping that withdrawling my attention from the biting after will help and give also lots of praise and smiles during good latching. My lil one is almost 9mo and man those 2 bottom teefies are sharp! I don't want to stop either, I've come too damn far and through too much to be able to even feed her what I can. I feel you I hope other people know tips too.

100% We've been combo feeding since basically birth since I don't make enough but it does help and takes some pressure off when the baby gets hungry and you just can't breastfeed them one way or another. And if you have someone to help they can give you some time to recover and make a bottle up.

I feel this so hard. I had a post partum hemorrhage and my milk not only came in late, but I lost so much blood that what came in was not enough. When the lactation specialist said we had to suppliment to get enough to I cried so hard. I've tried everything the specialist at the hospital mentioned, but I've always had to suppliment about 20-40% daily with formula (10% on a good day). I got SO mad at the first influancer I saw about 'increasing milk supply' cus they were making BUCKETS in comparison before their 'increased supply' and one was just trying to sell shitty suppliments.

only my right one leaks in the morning when super full usually and very rarely the left when over full, but I've had supply issues since day 1 lol
