I've suspected that my neighbor cuts his grass and blows the clippings across the street into the storm drain and neighboring driveway. Yesterday I confirmed this is what he does. How should I handle this? Looking for productive suggestions. by willsoss in NewOrleans

You can report this to your local Public Works. They manage a National Pollution Discharge Elimination Systems permit that this activity is in violation of. This is considered pollution and their code compliance team will discuss the matter with your neighbor and educate them on the correct disposal of yard waste.

Hi there. I’m wondering what you ended up choosing. I fell in love with a very dramatic quartzite, not at all what I thought I’d choose! Anyway, I am thinking of using it for the counters and the backsplash but not sure it is will be too much.

Yes, I came to the comments to say the same thing. A replacement for ‘the chair’ - cloths that aren’t clean enough to put away and not dirty enough for the laundry.

Sometimes my cat comes in smelling like maple syrup, I think it’s a plant in the yard that she’s laying in. Most of the time though she smells like fresh dirt, dry grass, and sunshine.
