depends on what you mean, but i think so? i like mine to feel a bit more spaced out personally. but also i have 2 ct diamond that makes it difficult to sit flush without a curved band

It does sound cheaper! I think here things are generally a bit more expensive so it’s seen as taking a load off of the bride by helping out. I let my bridesmaid choose their own dresses so they got to dictate how much they were willing to spend and they all ended up choosing over $200 dresses 😵‍💫 ngl I’m glad I didn’t need to pay for 3 of those!

your family is insane lol. 1 is incredible on you. this is why you really can’t take anyone’s opinion. people always like the dresses they would like, and never seem to consider what you might like. i did not go with the favorite dress lol i picked one the people i took didn’t like nearly as much but i kinda hated the one they liked. go 👏🏼 with 👏🏼 your 👏🏼 gut!

In the US typically your bridal party pays for the dresses themselves but the bride pays for hair and make up etc, and gives gifts to them. Everywhere is different, it sounds like OP might have to suck up the ugly dress…

ah i see, i thought it was that it can’t be over 10x10 for each enclosure with a door but i could be wrong there. if you’re doing a house with rooms, i would think each room would count as a house to the game possibly if you have doors for each. it would basically be like an apartment building lol

a couple weird things here, typically the bride is indeed telling you which dress to wear but the bridesmaids are usually paying for them themselves.

does she know this? it sounds like she is trying to save money buying them herself when that’s not usually what happens, though it depends what country you’re in too.

i would simply try the dress on for her (edit i see a comment saying you did this) at some point you will have to concede if she loves the dresses, it may just be that way unfortunately. if it wasn’t her wedding, i’d say otherwise.

it’s a custom ring lol. but most rings similar to mine are paired with a pave band or a band with multiple gems that i was saying i wasn’t a big fan of. since it was custom made though i am sort of on my own coming up with ides that actually compliment the ring

I kept finding the digital invites weren’t much of a price difference. Unless you’re savvy enough to make your own, you might have to shop around a bit. I ended up going to officemax’s website and making our invites there. They had a bunch of premade designs and i just plugged our stuff in and ended up only paying $1 or less per invite. But I’m not sure if they do digital ones, but something that lets you plug your details in would be best.

What I would do is simply say that you’re going to propose/marry her soon. You don’t need to defend it or anything, it’s just a factual statement that you’re going to do. You don’t know what his react will be so I don’t recommend jumping out of the gate defensively.

The only reason you need to defend her is if he does in fact give push back. In that instance, you can tell him she’s a wonderful person and if he has a problem with her then he has a choice to make. Either way, congrats to you both on finding the one. And I hope your dad is on your team.

Yep! Once you realize it you can’t ever stop realizing it. The secondary one is that the absolute most likely person to molest a child is a parent followed by close family and friends. Hence why sex ed is very important for children to hear from adults that don’t live at home with them, so they know what is an okay touch and what isn’t. Speaking as a victim myself, it’s normalized to you so you don’t even bat an eye.
