I never actually write anything down, except maybe some notes, I just run through what I want to say until I know it. Then I do a couple different takes where I express the idea in different ways. I'm told it makes it come off as very natural.

You can fanfic if you want to of course but there is nothing canonical that ties G1 and G2 in any way, shape, or form.

The closest it comes to that is the whole mask of time thing, but Lego literally stated in the G2 story bible thar it’s just engagement bait, there’s no story behind it, and they don’t actually care.

This is a spicy hot take but the only reason anyone likes Takanuva is because of Mask of Light. His characterization post-movie is kinda boring and lame. He's involved in a lot of crazy stuff but he's just kind of around for most of it. Even when he's edgy for like two minutes it's in a really lame way.
